Run away! :(

The WIndies selectors have just had a brainwave!. 'Lets strengthen West Indian cricket by dropping half our best players!' I hear them cry. They should take note of Zim. :)

This thread is two years old.:D

Zimbabwe should be asked to play against the Yanks. Even the Yanks would beat them now.

I dont see any futute for cricket in the Caribbean. The youngsters move to America and play baseball or basketball and make more money than the cricketers do out there.

The WI cricket board is made up of idiots.:(

Losing West Indian cricket would be a great shame. George Headly would turn in his grave. :(

Australia should be dropped from Test and OD Cricket. :D

"Rather than kick Australia out of world cricket, perhaps they could donate some of their outstanding first-class but non-international cricketers to teams like New Zealand and Zimbabwe"

It would be nice to have Mike Hussey batting for us in the Ashes. :)

Yeah. The Ozzies should be allowed to play only against aliens.

Meanwhile Mark Knopfler meets Sachin Tendulkar.

He got the action...he got the motion

Dire Straits legend Mark Knopfler had a special star-struck visitor at his hotel shortly after he arrived here for his first tour of India - cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar.

Going to be a close series I think, and hope. :)

My condolences by the way. Your now not so great nation is now home to the tombstone of international cricket. :( It's a sad thing. :(:(:(

Why can't they shift it to India.

I am going to watch it live on TV. Just came to peep in at the Main forum on the "Baptist/Jew" thread.

Cricket by itself is the most uncertain game in the world and when it is played in the subcontinent it is war.

See ya later.:)

Will he get another treble?!? :)

I am a little surprised that he came off for bad light after being so on top. I dare say the crowd were a bit miffed.

On the other hand the blood letting might be reduced if he didn't get a treble.

"On the same day, India knocked out Pakistan, the holders, in a dramatic clash at Bangalore.....Effigies of Wasim Akram, the Pakistan captain who pulled out at the last minute with a side strain, were burned in the street, and his house was pelted with rotten eggs and stones. A number of Pakistan fans committed suicide, including one man who shot his TV and then himself"

:D
