That is what makes England the greatest country in the world in the eyes of some people.:)

You're too kind.

And I thought there were ICC regulations preventing Pakis from getting good scores?

Long way to go yet. You can still have 'em out for 320 odd. :)

Not so bad. You took a first innings lead. Although why Tend can only make half centuries and nothing else better or worse in this series defeats me. ;)

It is possible that the orders about not wearing a helmet with the national flag on it has dampened his spirit. Narain Karthikeyan wanted the national flag of India on his Formula One racing helmet and the politically correct politicians said nothing doing. Until then nobody had noticed that Tend went in to bat all these years with the Indian national flag on his helmet. Nowadays he is not allowed to wear the helmet that he loves.

BTW, Time Laxman earned his keep wouldn't you say?

Laxman? 58 and 0 in this series so far. Could be a lot worse for all it could be better. I'll se how he does tomorrow, presuming he will need to bat tomorrow. :)

Did you know that Matt Hayden does Chris Tavre impressions? :)

Hayden 23*(103) 120 minutes

At this rate it would take him over 33 hours to remake the 380 he got against Zim.

If he doesn't tighten up his act he will have to do that as a pro.

Simon Katich is eyeing his place.

Meanwhile if Pak wins this Test I wouldn't mind. Afridi has given them a blazing start.

Can 9 guys score 327 on a 5th day track? If they can, they deserve to win.:)

WTF!!! Know what? We even have a wicketkeeper who can bat.:D

Well done Karthik. And Dravid. :)

I don't think Pak will win this one. Question is can they also end their innings on 407 as India seems adept at this vital skill. ;)

More tonnage for Gilly. Let's us pray that they didn't break the mould when they made him. Please let there be a 10 year old cricket enthusiast out there in Kent who will turn into a future Gilly and play for England. :)

Drinks on me tonight, mate.:D

That lad Asim Kamal impresses me. He is future captaincy material for Pakistan.

Kaarthick's leg-side stumping of Younis Khan was beautiful. At last, a wicketkeeper who can wicketkeep AND bat.:D

Yes I know. Incredible isn't it? The tendancy of modern day teams to self-distruct is very sad. Zim. WI. To a lesser extent SA. :(

Enjoy him while you can. I think he is one off. A wicket-keeper with an average over 54??!!

His strike rate of 82 is the highest ever . The next highest with over 5000 runs is Viv Richards with 62!

Amazing.

He is a freak.

A very nice person by all account.
