299/1. Gayle, Sarwan join the club. If they go quickly tomorrow and Lara and Chand join the merryment perhaps we can see a new record for Tons in a test.

Gangas seems to have taken a different approach to defeating Pakistan. Well, good luck to him. :D

You win some you lose some as Kapil Dev said.

300*! W.G. should really have arranged it so that Hinds and Lara got hundreds and Gayle got about 100. That would be much fairer. Not that W.G. was ever fair. ;)

"Ntini now also has a 100
Ntini gets the cap from the umpire, lifts his cap and bows to the
crowd, Boucher through to give him a high five
Pollock 2 away from his 100"

"Pollock also raises the hat for the 100, applause from the rest of
the South Africans"

Something tells me this match isn't being taken very seriously. ;)

Villagers giving an emotional welcome to Pakistan's former cricket captain Wasim Akram as he arrives at his ancestral home at Chawinda Devi, near Amritsar on Tuesday.

What India? What Pakistan? It is one Punjab.

Bangas predict surprises. :)

I don't hold much hope though. Bangladesh is the only team in the world that I wouldn't mind losing to. My support for England is outweighed my sympathies for Bashars chaps. :(

Pity.

Bangas opening game against Brit universities is delayed by rain. Have to be wary of these universities. Worcester is being walloped by one. :)

Bangas 238/3. If the rest of their tour matches goes like that, good. :)

Awwww!

WI 281/6 chasing 285 with 7 balls to go lose by 1 horrible little run.

"But it was Kallis's innings that will really rankle with the West Indians. Moments after Dwayne Smith had produced a sensational catch at gully to remove Graeme Smith (43 for 1), Kallis appeared to have been caught-behind for a third-ball duck, as Bradshaw found his edge with a perfect-length delivery. The umpire, Darrell Hair, however, thought otherwise and with that reprieve under his belt, Kallis's response was utterly typical."

:(

A sad case of 1 wrong decision costing a match. Can only reinforce calls for use of modern techology for such things.

Darrell Hair and Steve Bucknor ought to either retire or check their eyesights.

Buckers is overdue for retirement. Unfortunately, Hair is usually very good. Except this time. Oh well, I suppose it can only double the Carribian mortality rate.

It's time that he suffered a career ending injury. :disagree:

He may get Vaughan a couple of times but I feel that Strauss will sort him out.

Aye, but what about everyone else???????!? How long can the superb batting ability of Matt Hoggard survive against him?!? :gadfly:

Still, Afridis match will help me take my mind off the horror to follow. :)
