England were only a doughty tailend partnership away from an undeserved draw. It rained the next day, I believe. Undeserved as it may have been, it was still a possibility.

Cricket's a funny game. We will see what happens next. An injury, bad light, poor form....anything could happen.

But the look on Vaughn's face in the second innings after he was given out and walking off told a tale. Talk about the worries of the world on your shoulders. :chok:

The Poms have been busy.

They've been shooting Brazilians who look like Arabs who run when asked to stop.

Come to think of it, he did't even look like Ronaldinho.

Wait till Flinty dyes his hair orange. :D

Simon Jones ought to be told that his grandpappy put Matt Hayden's grandpappy behind bars.

No matter who loses this series, cricket has already won.:)

From 64/5 to 205 in 50 overs.

Now all you need to do is bowl like Glenn Superman McGrath and land every goddam ball on or about off stump.

It get better. Gillespie would return home if another bomb blast.

Come on Islamists, we didn't let you stay here for nothing! Help us! Course, it would be a shame if Dizzy left, as we wouldn't have anyone we could reliably score off and not have to worry about getting out. :)

Dizzie should be rested for the next test...

Kaspo should be given the job,

he took five in an inning last game

and IMO he has what it takes to pin the Poms down.

The old horse knows the way.

Australia's going with the same team,

so Kaspo will be carrying the drinks.

The old enemy is counting on improvement

I couldn't agree more with that!

Mc Grath's out!

Ponting wins the toss and ball (I don't agree with that!)

This is England's best chance to turn things around.

Warne drops a catch in the slips...

Gosh, this is a good start for England or what?

That would have to be the understatement of the ages!

Is Ponting mad????!!!!

He just loses his spearhead. And the wicket is an obvious tame strip. He wins the toss and lets the other side bat. What a tosser!

Australia's captain, Ricky Ponting, won the toss and chose to bowl first even though his spearhead was sidelined. "I guess the good thing about it is that Kasper took five wickets in the tour game during the week so he's in pretty good touch as well and I'm looking forward to seeing him bowl."

He's keen to see Kaspa bowl a few is he? I wonder if he is satisfied now?

Congratulation in advance to England.

407ao at over 5 an over. Having Mcgrath put out of action makes such a difference.

But 407 won't be enough....
