Ted is straight out of the Monty Python's "Four Yorkshire Men" :P

I played it for him. He loved it.

I am even further North. 50 miles south of Newcastle. Yorkshire accents are the best imo. :)

You don't have to poop your pants. We've only squandered the ashes again. But why would we want that badly made manky little thing anyway? :)

Actually be Mr XB, we have never lost the Ashes, as you know very well. The Aussies have always taken a poorlt made copy home. :D

You think we should tell them? :wonder: :Bad:

2-3 chances put down before he got his century. And KP still has the chance to catch a catch off McGrath to make it a tied Test. :kowt:

Nothing like Tonnage against the best bowlers in the world. We're narrow favourites to draw now I think. :)

Less than 24 hours and already I'm SICK AND TIRED of England's boorish and arrogant attitude.

:P :P

Get used to it. This is your label now: Boorish and arrogant. Few will ever give you your dues as a great side, and any celebrations in your victories will be attacked as poor sportsmanship.

After a dozen years you will be glad to lose the title of the best cricket team in the world because apparently you :

are always lucky to win,

are always geting umpire's decisions its way when your players appeal,

appeals against your batsmen are never given,

have the temerity to complain when opposition bowlers use highly suspect actions,

have the personal lives of its best players splashed on the front pages on the eve of big matches,

have only ever beaten weak teams anyway, even when they have players like Tendulkar, Lara, Vaughan, Jacques Kallis, Chris Cairns, Allan Donald ...etc in them. The first team that beats you will be the only good team you ever played.

The mantle of world's best team was our curse. And we hand it to you.

:D

You just wait. :Bad:

I have put up a thread in the Main Forum titled "Phuck you retards" about folk who dont understand cricket.

England had a better captain.

That was the only difference between the two sides.

And if you can ever see the replay of the ball Glenn McGrath bowled to Pietersen, you will know that the story aint over yet.

Indian kids are watching that replay in slow motion learning how to do it.

Man of the series has to be Freddie Flintoff.:kowt:

I go along with Flintoff as the man of the series. Warne was probably the best consistent performer. His stats were phenomenal, considering he was also used as a stock bowler.

But a player from the winning team is generally the choice.

Ponting put England in to bat on a great batting pitch, short his gun opening bowler (McGrath), and denying Warne a chance to bowl England at in last innings.

I think there is no doubt who the better captain was.

Ponting's whining about substitute fielders and saying he felt his job was safe no matter what shows he can't read the signs too well.

There was nothing between the two teams. The first test was just England playing a shocker. England won two nail-biting tests. And in the last test, Australia batted in rain and darkness while England batted in beautiful sunshine on the first and last days. Thats ladyluck. ;)

Best series ever! :kowt:

I think it should be England V The World in the upcoming series.

The Australia V The World is 2 years too late in the making. Our players are over the hill.

Still a bloody good team that has a lot of heart, but......
