Too little too late. If Cookie had scored a little faster maybe we'd have had time.:wonder:

Football is 11-a-side, just like cricket, I'm sure an exchange program could be arranged, where the Sporting Lesbians try their hand at googlies and slower balls.

It'll only be England cup if the SAS steal it. We're too crap at one day cricket to get close to grabbing it otherwise.

I willing to wager you ten quid that if Freddie Flintoff is captain and Vaughn and Trescothick play under him, England will win. Monty Panesar, of course, will shine; after all, Bishen Singh Bedi is one of his gurus.:kowt:

Get more youngsters like Cook into the squad.

It was a privilege to watch Cook on TV. He played the game like the regular Pom with a stiff upper lip which sometimes smiled and caused Indian hotties to propose to him. Shades of David Gower's grace in Alastair Cook.

Australia's Mick Lewis suffered worst of all the bowlers, his 10 overs costing 113 runs - the worst figures ever and the first time a bowler has conceded more than 100 in a 50-over match.
