Spinner helps England win in ODI shocker! The Pak players look surprisingly troubled by spin this summer, so get Montyzuma in. Mahmood seems to get worse with every game, giving him a rest might be best for him and the team.

He convinced the selectors to play their best bowlers whatever the conditions and, if that meant four spinners, so be it

Yep, well done Saj mon. :kory:

Now, what are the odds of him going for over a hundred in an ODI against Australia. :wonder:

It's not the actual score though, but who else could lose 9/30?

Carrying your bat for 141 isn't a bad way to make a come-back. Now all He needs is to take a five-for for dessert.

"Look, as far as I'm concerned Tendulkar is God, and if you want to become a better player you've got to compete with the best."
Brett Lee has no qualms about mixing sports with religion

And once again the Windies get off to a rollicking start in a run chase. They've blown it now.:disagree:

You win some and you lose some.

Agreed 141 on a comeback is great. Damn Duckworth and Lewis.

Why the heck are they playing a tournament in the middle of the tropics? Anyone with half a brain could imagine the amount of rain that was going to come down. Either build stadiums with roofs there or play somewhere else.Pullhair

England need to find a copy of that completely elusive book, "How to get MK Hussey out in five easy steps.":wonder:

Well, they "only" need 66 now. . . .7 wickets left, shouldn't be "too" hard. . . . :silence:

Never before in the field of international cricket have the West Indies lost, chasing so few.

South Africa, 418/5. Boucher, 148* off 68 with 6 drops. :chok: Poor Zimbos...:(

What a bunch of duffers!;)

Utseya to Boucher, FOUR, Dropped at deep midwicket by Mupariwa
Utseya to Boucher, 1 run, Dropped at extra-cover by Duffin
Rainsford to Boucher, 1 run, Dropped at extra-cover by Duffin
Masakadza to Boucher, FOUR, hits it hard in the air to long on, where Mupariwa drops the catch
Rainsford to Boucher, FOUR, hit in the air to long off, where Matsikenyeri makes a good attempt to take the catch, drops it and the ball rolls into the fence
Rainsford to Boucher, 1 run, Dropped again, looks to go over the midwicket, gets a leading edge and goes miles in the air, Taylor calls for it, waits for the ball a long time and then drops the catch

To make things fair SAfrica should only be allowed 20 overs to bat.:gadfly:
