That form of cricket is sneered at by the purists, the conventionalists, and the traditionalists of the game.

Wait until you have won at the traditional one-day cricket format before you boast your boast.

We won in 1983...:tralala:

The game is bigger than the individual. Cricket existed in India before the so-called big three and will survive long after they are dead.

"Rudi came and said sorry to him," Mahela Jayawardene said. "But that's it. Kumar being Kumar was fine with it. He was very disappointed at the particular moment, but when you sit back after half an hour, you know it's a mistake made by a human and that's it."

Aussies may have won but Kumar has a lot of admirers...

My word, that pig was rough. :s&l:

Anyway, what's going on. Oh, Tharanga is taking us apart for some niggling presidents XI.

Remarkable innings from Sang though. How he didn't get the man of the match award I don't know. :( Australia have now won 14 games on the trot apparently, 3 more will set a world record. Annoyingly good.

Let's see what they do against us. Aussie wins are becoming boringly repetitive.:mbar:

Here is someone whose arms, face and legs defy the laws of mechanics ball after ball. Yet he often appeared the most morose man on the field.

India look set to prevail in the first Test as well. If Mohammed Sami had been arrested for anti Musharraf protests, it could have been so different.

Rumour has it that the Pakistani team awaits a firing squad if they lose the Test series as well.

Losing to a bunch of infidels is blasphemy, I am told...
