Cheers Trav,
Here's to an Oz vs India final. May the better team win.
Warnie will find it tough to get back his place in this Ozzie team.

"they looked dead and buried at 81-7 but still managed to get to 208!?!"

Quite. That is why we shouldn't really be too hard on England for loosing from the same sort of situation. They do have an opener down at number 9. ;)

So, the trend of batting first and winning continues.

What should be the India gameplan for an Australian final then?

275? We're taliking about the Aussies here. 375 is a more worthy target. :D

When India and Australia met in the group stages India batted first and only managed 126, Australia won by nine wickets - the most convincing win of the tournament by a team batting second.

We are still getting ahead of ourselves and New Zealand are still a threat despite todays performance.

Ive got to ask zxb why do you love the french now? Are you just trying to wind someone up?

Yes. The Swine. He doesn't seem to like the French, so I chose my avatar and status to annoy him, just temporarily. ;)

Yeah well...

Zimbabwe against Kenya. I think I'd prefer Kenya to win, to continue the generally healthy trend of the 'minnows'. :)

New Zealand, could win their match, but it could be close.

Zimbabwe against SL should be an easy victory for SL, with any luck.

I feel that I need not comment on the outcome of Aus against Kenya. :D

Kenyans have showed some resilience here. Would like to see them at least bat out their 50 overs against both Zimbabwe and Australia. Would be entertaining and a great boost for morale. May even get them test status. What do ya reckon?

Geez ag Fosters! i suppose that's all you can get there, same as here. I hope it's made in Oz and not India or some other place. The fosters we get here is made in Vancouver and tastes like yankee beer, made for this market. Sucks really! I gave up beer (one of my great life's pleasures) when i came back here, because of the taste and fizz. Only drink beer (as much as I can) when I'm overseas. Be in Argentina next week, good beer there, too!
Good luck in the final!

Aussies drink V.B.
It outsells Fosters more than 20 to 1,
Fosters is for exporting, V.B. is for local consumption ;)

Must have been some good bowling by the Kenyans to restrict them to 133 in 44 overs.
Question... Will or should Kenya get test status??
