He played for St. George in 1926 in his first grade debut, I believe at 18 or 19, then shortly after was picked for the state where he blew everyone away. I'll have to check on this tho'

Paul Kelly wrote a good song about "Bradman" you should see if you can get a copy of one of his albums, probably a Best Hits. About Bradmans rise and lead up to the Bodyline series.:)

That was Bradmans debut match. It was nearly a year after the match above. I think he was the 15th player (or at least Australian player)to make a ton on debut. And the first one to go onto anything good. Perhaps his debut was delayed with NSW because of his promising rival Archie Jackson.

I'll have a look for Kelly's album. :)

Hardly surprising. :) I've never seen 6 players being caught and bowled before in a single innings, if even, in an entire match! Not a completely catatrophic performance from Kambli, if I say so myself. ;)
