Namibia very strange place in the 1980s when i had the misfortune to spend a few days in the hell hole.
ex german colony.
all the nazis in WW2 that had not got the cash or who`s war crimes were not not serious enough to justify going to south america were living in Windhoek.
in the way americans fly flags outside the house these buggers flew swastikas and all their maids had light brown children.
it made South Africa look positively liberal.

I'd favour the Pakis in this one, only because of the Poms recent form. However for the Pakis to win, Inzamam has to fire.
England: well, Hussein is back and if they win the toss should bat. Having said that, Vaughn, Hussein, et al have to post a big total because I don't think their attack can do huge damage to the Pakis. God help 'em if the Pakis win the toss.

It could easily go either way really. My instinct thinks that Pakistan will prevail (very easily if we haven't improved after the Namibia match). On the other hand this is one day cricket and strange things happen. Could prove be an interesting match.

:)  :D

I'll say England wins by 15 runs or 4 wkts. Neither of them is going to win the final anyway.

England 8/1 after 5 overs, and Shoiab Akhtar of Pakistan bowling at 100 miles an hour. Come on England. India cheers for you.

Shoaib beat the 100mph mark (161.8 kph)

The games still to close to call, although obviously pakistan has the advantage.

Slight rally to 214/7. Collingwood might keep us going. Giles isn't doing badly as yet either.

England finish with 246/8 and I am a little bit more confident in my england by 16 runs prediction - I wonder what odds I could get on the spread betting.

Let us hope that our bowlers cut in and do some damage. At least we denied Wasim his 500th wicket! :):):)

end of over 4 - Pak 17 - 3! Anderson on a hatrick next over.

How are you guys following the cricket - I listen to the aussie games on the radio if I can and if I have to use the net ill use either the acb cricinfo site (acb.com.au) which has a ball by ball commentry or the bbcs which also has very good coverage.
