Well, I've looked at the list now, and I'm not totally convinced that Boucher is the best man for the keepers slot. Good lower order batter of course, but from what I saw last year, his keeping leaves a fair amount to be desired. Rest of the squads seem fair though.

Nice little team. Couple of small pointers, why is Dravid and not Fleming captain? And why Lance Klusener for the alrounder? Batting average of 33 and bowling over 37 is not exceptional. Shaun Pollock has a similar batting average but his bowling average is less than 21.5.

He got them in more tests than Murali, but all the same, wickets are wickets.
Meanwhile something which we would never have thought of a decade ago.

Bowlers from the United Arab Emirates have been offered 1,000 dollars by their officials if they can dismiss India's star batsman Sachin Tendulkar in the Asia Cup here on Friday.

Dont be niave Agnostic. All home teams "doctor" the pitches to suit the home team, its part of the game. Just remember both teams get to play on the same pitch.
India got thrashed by NZ in NZ because they were cr@p. Badly led they just didnt want to be there, a bunch of over paid "superstars". That is why they're so low on the rankings.
Consistancy must include the ability to win away games, one thing the Indians have a really bad record for.
