Easier said than done. The Marxists are correct; we are a multinational state, not a nation.

The ICC seems to be made up of comedians. They have come to the conclusion that 99% of bowlers throw.

Quite worrying that. But I still oppose relaxing the laws. No matter how much they deny it, it can only look as appeasing Muralis Doosra.

Fine. India did not entirely win by 6 wickets. Again, it comes down to a suspect bowling lineup. Presumably.

Cricket is serious business that can only be understood by Englishmen, Australians, New Zealanders, Pakistanis, South Africans, Sri Lankans, and West Indians, and maybe, the odd Indian.

Meanwhile for our cricket fraternity here, do you think Ian Bothan or Dennis Lillee or Richard Hadlee chucked the ball?

"McGrath does it; why can't I?"

Cricket is game played only by British and their former and present colonial slaves.
All other normal people in the world have never heard about this stupid Anglo exercise. This inhumane British colonial legacy should be forbidden anywhere in the world for ever.

Pearls before swine.

Show me a cricketer and I show you a gentleman. :)

If you can understand that the husband of the Queen need not necessarily be the King, you can understand cricket.

Believe me, it unites the various peoples of the world and what if the Poms invented it? Dont we all speak the language of the British? Why doesn't everybody speak French, for example?

Colonialism has nothing to do with it.

BTW, zxb,
What do you figure from a scorecard like this?

230/4 on the first day. To be honest, it slightly favours India in that you got 4 wickets and kept the run rate down to a depressing crawl. ;)

Any idea how much Glenn Mcgrath paid NZ to get them to let him make 50!?! :D

7 more runs and it is a century partnership. Dizzy Gillespie has proved that he can stonewall till the cows come home.

If the Kiwis cant separate Pigeon and Dizzy in an hour tomorrow, they ought to start playing snooker.

Welcome to India any time mate. We love Australians.

I can take you to places where if you just say you are from "Adam Gilchrist and Steve Waugh land" you'll find an amiable crowd collecting.

Dont worry. We will all be here even when you log in from Oz.:)

India 185/0! Nowt like a braco 'o 85's in an opening partnership to keep up morale. :)

I dare say the match will be drawn.

Scotland, crap at football, poor at Rugby, quite good at cricket. :D Wonder where Davidson went.
