German subs delivered to Israel
September 30, 2009

BERLIN (JTA) -- Two new German submarines were delivered to Israel.

The submarines, ordered in 2005, reportedly can launch cruise missiles carrying nuclear warheads, according to the French news agency AFP.

An Israeli military spokesman, speaking off the record, confirmed the delivery of the two Dolphin-class submarines, known as U212s. The range of the missiles the subs can carry would extend at least as far as Iran, whose controversial nuclear program coupled with verbal threats against the Jewish state have raised alarm.

Israel reportedly now has five submarines from Germany, which donated the first two subs to Israel after the 1991 Gulf War. The two countries split the cost of the third sub.

In a recent military exercise, an Israeli submarine entered the Suez Canal for the first time, accompanied by an Egyptian naval escort.

Great, more nuclear delivery possibilities for a wicked little nation surrounded by enemies.

It has been well publicised and now if Israel attacks Iran then Iran has every right to bomb Germany for aiding them in the war. Israel threatens to invade Iran and Germany knows full well these subs can be used in the attack so as far as I am concerned Germany is part of the attack.

Following that logic... if Iran attacks Israel, Isreal has the right to attack Russia. Previously, When Georgia attacked Russia, Russia should have attacked itself also.

There is no precedent for what you describe, That would be kind of like America declaring war on Russia every time an American is attacked by a Kalashnikov rifle.

I doubt if Germany will endanger the enormous trade balance they presently have with Iran, by giving the Jews much more than these toy subs, which are the final payment for the blackmail of Germany for the past 60 years

Wow, that would be fun to watch, especially since Russians have four nuclear subs and couple of destroyers parked in a Syrian port.

With luck they'll have hidden charges built in so that they can be destroyed remotely.

Isn't it a bit ironic, Germany giving Israel weapons to harm others as a reparation for the Jewish holocaust? If they're not going to cut off reparations by now, at least limit them to harmless goods like food. Then Israel would have to find a way to trade bread for more weapons

Big mistake. if they wanted good quality they should've bought Japanese or Korean.

that is not the issue, mechanics and industry are not the issue.

the issue here is that some people are still trying to make germany and russia have another war. it is an inability to leave the times of the east -v- west conflicts of the cold war and enter the modern world of globalism.

if you want to take the time to post a comment; please do post a comment which has enuf material to be replied.

if you do mean that "the mob" is all the secret fraternal orders which infact do rule north america, then you are wrong. you are wrong because the USA state dept. has not stopped fighting the cold war since the time when gorbachev and regan ended it at reykjavik.

i have replied to your little posting as well as i possibly can (considering that you are too lazy to make clear and complete comments) and now i suppose that you shall again fail to respond with more than ten words.
