Girl in her Garden

Our garden, Bellingham, Washington USA

My daughter was out in the garden one summer morning checking on her plants. She is holding some Morning Glory flowers of the Convolvulaceae family (Ipomoea purpurea) other out of focus flowers are Batchelor Buttons and Sweet Peas. The vines are climbing on a wire trellis with a Humming Bird outline.
A brief moment in time capturing the intimacy of childhood inquisitiveness and innocense.

All great pics, Russkie! The one with the bird pulling the worm out of the ground was awesome (unless you're a worm).

Its very nice,a bit like beef not much fat so you have to cook it to rare,or make a soup from the tail. These are Pretty Face Wallabys not Kangaroos.(I do get some eastern Grey Kangaroos visit too.) There are now more kangaroos in Australia than before white man came due to forest clearing for farms giving them plenty of grass and dams giving them water. Its actually more environmentally friendly to eat and farm Kangaroos than cattle ,less water, less grass ,less damage to the soil from cloven hoofs, less chemicals and the meat has less fat, their leather makes the best shoes too light strong and more water proof than regular leather. Posted Image Here is 2 Kookaburras that visit me everyday the one on the table has been coming for over 8 years.
