Drones Over Your Backyard
Do you know why they are recording your home and yard?
The drone is gathering information about you - where your doors and windows are located, entry and exit portals in your fences or property lines, what kind of things you store in your yard, how many pets you own, how many cars are parked in the driveway, and much more. Civilian drones take high resolution videos of everything visible above your property, and even record sounds and voices, but for what purpose?
Here are 7 examples that you might not have expected:
1. City code enforcement looking for building code or city ordinance violations;
2. Attorney's investigators looking for hidden assets, buried items, or for appraising your property prior to lawsuit;
3. IRS seeking to do "lifestyle audits" of your family in preparation for tax evasion charges against you;
4. Neighbors collecting evidence for future lawsuits regarding pet droppings, messy yard, or nuisances;
5. Appraisers hired to determine if your land is lowering property values of the neighborhood;
6. Drug enforcement looking for illegal plants, drug labs, or signs of narcotics activities;
7. Burglars casing your property to determine the best time of day to steal your stuff;
8. Commercial use of your image without payment or consent in the form of a model release.
The list could be almost endless but these all have a few things in common:
1. None of that is beneficial to your health or wealth;
2. Surveillance induces extreme stress on you once it is detected because you don't know why;
3. The end result is financial loss no matter what the reason was for surveillance.
4. When you catch the drone operator in the act of trespass, they refuse to identify themselves or provide any information. They usually leave the scene before the police arrive.
If you own land, you own the airspace all the way to the stars, and the government has only an air travel easement that begins at the FAA minimum altitude for aircraft flights. That's the law. A drone over your land is committing an act of trespass, an invasion of privacy, an act of harassment (noise and surveillance), illegal stalking, intimidation, unauthorized recording of private conversations, among others.
In California, drone stalking is legally actionable under illegal surveillance provisions of the California Civil Code 1708.7 and also California Penal Code 646.9. So drone stalking can be both a civil tort entitling the victim to money damages, and a crime, entitling the perpetrator to a trial by jury.
Criminal acts prohibited under Penal Code 602 PC (trespassing) or Penal Code 459 (burglary) entering the person's property intending to engage in a criminal act (i.e. illegal surveillance) will not only result in stalking charges, but in those additional criminal charges as well.
An industrious prosecutor may decide to push the legal envelope to the maximum if drone operator takes a video of children, resulting in the possibility of sex offender charges such as child pornography for videos taken of small children at the beach even if it is a public place.
By now you may have realized that drone operators are not my favorite people. They can be useful in search and rescue, and for a lot of other things such as assessing the damage to a blown nuclear reactor, but use on the public is loosely regulated if at all. Most drone operators are completely ignorant of the laws that do apply. It is not only airports, freeways, and fire trucks they need to avoid, they are trespassing on private property when they fly over your house.
So what can you do about it?
Your local police will tell you to call them first and make a complaint. They often arrive about 30 to 45 minutes after the drone operator has disappeared with this drone. My suggestion is somewhat different.
1. Get your camcorder out and get video evidence of the drone over your property, and provide a narrative of what you are recording, such as "here comes the drone over my patio again, low altitude, with a camera aimed at me and my home". Audibly estimate the approximate altitude if you can, and the direction of flight such as North or South, how many minutes it hovered over your land, how close it came to any people or animals, so you can document the event as it happened.
2. The drone operator will be within visual sight of the drone, so look around the neighborhood for a guy with a control box watching a screen. When you do find him, record with your camcorder the entire confrontation while you tell him of your concerns and demand that he stop. The demand is important to meet the requirements of the California Civil Code.
3. Save the video recording to show the police, if and when they arrive. If you want to file a complaint, the video will become important evidence of trespass and harassment.

'Will Work For Food' -- The Coming Collapse Of The Professions
With advancements in technology, the majority of professionals will become severely marginalized and considerably poorer. However, three kinds of professionals will not only continue to become wealthy, they will likely become exceedingly wealthy.
Technology – in particular cognitive computing – will, over time, decimate the earning power of most professionals. The seeds of this have been planted in the financial advisory industry. Accountants, attorneys, bankers and consultants will follow close behind.
This is a true paradigm shift a la Kuhn. It will take some time for this transformation to play out, but it is an eventuality. The pace of the shift away from humans to algorithmic-based methodologies is a function of the evolution of the technology and the “dying out” of the “old guard.” For many successful and well-experienced professionals today, their futures are pretty much intact as they race the advancements in cognitive computing and related systems with the winding down of their careers.
Among professionals, irrespective of their areas of expertise, there will be three kinds who will substantially benefit from the impending collapse in their respective fields. They are usually at the top of the financial pyramid today and will be the ones creating significant personal wealth as their peers (metaphorically speaking) are walking the streets with oversized sandwich iPad signs announcing: “Will Work For Food.”
In order of likely level of personal wealth creation, the three kinds of professionals are:
- Entrepreneurs – they develop efficacious business models leveraging new concepts and/or technology.
- Rainmakers – in a commoditized business environment, they are able to source high-caliber prospects and convert them into clients.
- Savants – they are the true technical wizards; due to their deep understanding of their field combined with a streak of brilliance, they are able to derive viable in-demand innovations.
The quality that runs through these three kinds of professionals is “ingenuity.”
Even as the existing business models of professional services firms are being demolished, they are the creatives and therefore able to thrive. Comparatively, there will be very few stellar Entrepreneurs. There will be many more Rainmakers and even a greater number of Savants. But all together they will compose a shrinking and ever more prosperous cohort as the technology improves.
For well-established professionals, as noted, it is a slow demise where there is a possibility their careers will naturally end before they are overtaken by the likes of artificial intelligence. For rookie professionals, a re-thinking of their career tracks is probably a wise decision. Most importantly, for those professionals who can project themselves into one of the three kinds, there are and will be a multitude of opportunities to become seriously, seriously rich.

Are We Nearing Civil War?
President Trump may be chief of state, head of government and commander in chief, but his administration is shot through with disloyalists plotting to bring him down.
We are approaching something of a civil war where the capital city seeks the overthrow of the sovereign and its own restoration.
Thus far, it is a nonviolent struggle, though street clashes between pro- and anti-Trump forces are increasingly marked by fistfights and brawls. Police are having difficulty keeping people apart. A few have been arrested carrying concealed weapons.
That the objective of this city is to bring Trump down via a deep state-media coup is no secret. Few deny it.
Last week, fired Director of the FBI James Comey, a successor to J. Edgar Hoover, admitted under oath that he used a cutout to leak to The New York Times an Oval Office conversation with the president.
Goal: have the Times story trigger the appointment of a special prosecutor to bring down the president.
Comey wanted a special prosecutor to target Trump, despite his knowledge from his own FBI investigation, that Trump was innocent of the pervasive charge that he colluded with the Kremlin in the hacking of the DNC.
Comey's deceit was designed to enlist the police powers of the state to bring down his president. And it worked. For the special counsel named, with broad powers to pursue Trump, is Comey's friend and predecessor at the FBI, Robert Mueller.
As Newt Gingrich said Sunday: "Look at who Mueller's starting to hire. ... (T)hese are people that ... look to me like they're ... setting up to go after Trump ... including people, by the way, who have been reprimanded for hiding from the defense information into major cases. ...
"This is going to be a witch hunt."
Another example. According to Daily Kos, Trump planned a swift lifting of sanctions on Russia after inauguration and a summit meeting with Vladimir Putin to prevent a second Cold War.
The State Department was tasked with working out the details.
Instead, says Daniel Fried, the coordinator for sanctions policy, he received "panicky" calls of "Please, my God, can you stop this?"
Operatives at State, disloyal to the president and hostile to the Russia policy on which he had been elected, collaborated with elements in Congress to sabotage any detente. They succeeded.
"It would have been a win-win for Moscow," said Tom Malinowski of State, who boasted last week of his role in blocking a rapprochement with Russia.
State employees sabotaged one of the principal policies for which Americans had voted, and they substituted their own.
Not in memory have there been so many leaks to injure a president from within his own government, and not just political leaks, but leaks of confidential, classified and secret documents. The leaks are coming out of the supposedly secure investigative and intelligence agencies of the U.S. government.
The media, the beneficiaries of these leaks, are giving cover to those breaking the law. The real criminal "collusion" in Washington is between Big Media and the deep state, colluding to destroy a president they detest and to sink the policies they oppose.
Yet another example is the unfolding "unmasking" scandal.
While all the evidence is not yet in, it appears an abnormal number of conversations between Trump associates and Russians were intercepted by U.S. intelligence agencies.
On orders higher up, the conversations were transcribed, and, contrary to law, the names of Trump associates unmasked.
Then those transcripts, with names revealed, were spread to all 16 agencies of the intel community at the direction of Susan Rice, and with the possible knowledge of Barack Obama, assuring some would be leaked after Trump became president.
The leak of Gen. Michael Flynn's conversation with the Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, after Obama imposed sanctions on Russia for the hacking of the DNC, may have been a product of the unmasking operation. The media hit on Flynn cost him the National Security Council post.
Trump has had many accomplishments since his election. Yet his enemies in the media and their deep state allies have often made a purgatory of his presidency.
What he and his White House need to understand is that this is not going to end, that this is a fight to the finish, that his enemies will not relent until they see him impeached or resigning in disgrace.
To prevail, Trump will have to campaign across this country and wage guerrilla war in this capital, using the legal and political weapons at his disposal to ferret out the enemies within his own government.
Not only is this battle essential, if Trump hopes to realize his agenda, it is winnable. For the people sense that the Beltway elites are cynically engaged in preserving their own privileges, positions and power.
If the president cannot rewrite Obamacare or achieve tax reform, he should not go around the country in 2018 wailing about Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. They are not the real adversaries. They are but interchangeable parts.
He should campaign against the real enemies of America First by promising to purge the deep state and flog its media collaborators.
Time to burn down the Bastille.
This civil war is Obama's Revenge.
There should be no doubt whatsoever that Obama is the dark force approving these leaks and unmaskings by his former associates and friends. Obama saw Trump speeches and knew that Trump would reverse Obama-era policies, so Obama planned this illegal coup down to the last detail. His associates would never have acted without Obama knowing and approving all of it. They were Obama's people, Obama chose them, gave them elevated status and power, and they acted in concert with Obama's plans. They do as Obama asked.
It is Obama poisoning the well from which we all must drink.
He is the "community organizer" for the deep state coup.
Obama is the agent of the globalist utopians who want a New World Order.
He was never "our" president, he was theirs.
And he can't let it go.

From the once-friendly pro-American Vietnamese leader, Ho Chi Minh:
“Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty.”
Then he added:
“You will kill 10 of our men, and we will kill 1 one of yours and in the end it will be you who tires of it.”

This Future Event Was Very Foreseeable...
The shooting took place at a practice for the GOP congressional baseball team.
Scalise, a member of the House Republican leadership as the majority whip, appeared to have been shot in the hip and it appeared two Capitol Hill police agents were shot, according to Rep. Mo Brooks, who told CNN he was on deck when the shooting occurred.
According to both congressional and law enforcement sources, the shooting appears to be a "deliberate attack."
Scalise is the first member of Congress to be shot since former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords was shot in January 2011. Giffords was shot in the head by Jared Lee Loughner at a "Congress On Your Corner" event at a Tucson grocery store. Giffords, who authorities said was the main target of the shooting, survived the attack but six others were killed and an additional 12 were injured.
“I don’t know how much more of this the country can take,” Savage said.
“We are at a boiling point. There’s going to be a civil war,” he told his listeners Tuesday.
Several shots fired at truck flying ‘Make America Great Again’ flag on I-465
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana State Police say shots were fired at a truck carrying a “Make America Great Again” flag and an American flag on eastbound I-465 Tuesday.
Officers believe the shots were fired from a newer white 4-door Chevrolet Malibu with a Louisiana plate near Emerson Avenue around 4 p.m.
The victim and a witness informed police that the Malibu pulled up next to the pickup truck, a passenger held a handgun out of the window and then a male fired several shots.
