No seriously, many of you want to blame the Jews... and thats just fine, except for one thing...

Israel is here to stay.

So either the arabs can continue to Martyr themselves to death... or they can put aside their stupid biggotry, stop the suicide murders and work for peace.

Don't hold your breath.

By Nidal al-Mughrabi

GAZA (Reuters) - The militant Islamic group Hamas said Friday it broke off talks with Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas on ending attacks on Israelis, in a strong challenge to peace pledges he made at a U.S.-led summit.

The announcement and subsequent Hamas rallies in which militants vowed more suicide bombings against Israel set Palestinian hard-liners and the reformist Abbas on a collision course likely to stoke fears of civil war.

"We have stopped the dialogue with the Palestinian Authority (news - web sites)," Hamas founder and spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin told Reuters. "This is our choice and we have no alternative. (Armed) resistance will continue."

Under pressure to crack down on militants to allow a U.S.-backed "road map" to move forward, Abbas sought to persuade Hamas to halt attacks on Israelis in talks with the group ahead of the summit he had Wednesday with President Bush (news - web sites) and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon (news - web sites) in Jordan.

The road map calls for a halt to Israeli-Palestinian violence and reciprocal confidence-building steps, including a freeze of Jewish settlement expansion on occupied Arab land, leading to establishment of a Palestinian state in 2005.

Bush, cementing his new role as chief Middle East peace mediator after the U.S.-led war in Iraq (news - web sites), won a promise from Sharon to dismantle some settler outposts in the West Bank and endorsement of the creation of a "viable" Palestinian state.

Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen, called for demilitarization of a 32-month-old Palestinian uprising for independence, effectively advocating an end to an armed struggle for a state.

Yassin said Abbas made unacceptable commitments at the Aqaba summit in which they affirmed initial steps in the road map.

'BUSES WILL BE BLOWN UP AGAIN'

Reinforcing Yassin's words, thousands of Hamas supporters staged rallies across the Gaza Strip (news - web sites) Friday vowing to continue attacks, including suicide bombings, against Israelis.

"Hamas' announcement to continue the resistance means that buses will be blown up again in Tel Aviv," one activist shouted over a loudspeaker during one rally.

Yassin accused Abbas of ignoring key issues like the right of return of Palestinian refugees to what is now Israel and the future of Jerusalem.

Commenting on the Hamas move, Palestinian Cabinet minister Ziad Abu Amr signaled Abbas would do his utmost to steer clear of armed conflict with the group. The government, Abu Amr said, made a commitment "not to resort to force" in internal affairs.

There was no immediate comment by officials in Israel, where government offices were closed for a Jewish holiday.

But White House spokesman Scott McClellan called Hamas "an enemy of peace" and urged all parties in the region to dismantle the "infrastructure of terror."

The peace plan, which the Palestinians accepted and Israel endorsed with reservations, calls on the Palestinian Authority to confront all those engaged in terror, including the "dismantlement of terrorist capabilities and infrastructure" and "confiscation of illegal weapons."

The Palestine Liberation Organization (news - web sites)'s Executive Committee, which met in the West Bank city of Ramallah with President Yasser Arafat (news - web sites) and Abbas in attendance, expressed concern over what it called new Israeli acts of aggression after the summit.

Since the summit, Israeli forces have killed two Hamas gunmen in a raid on the West Bank city of Tulkarm, and destroyed in the southern Gaza Strip two tunnels through which the army said arms were smuggled from Egypt.

Madrigalian,

All Palestinians are terrorists. That is why it is OK for the Iraeli military to target heavily populated areas with their bombs.

If those bombs kill civilians, like babies, children old women, it does not matter. They are all terrorists.

If Israel bullozes Palestinian homes, it is the same as bulldozing a terrorist's home.

However, for a Palestinian suicide bomber to kill innocent civilians in a Tel Aviv shopping mall, that is an act of terrorism.

Madrigalian,

You might want to research the following refugee camps: Sabra and Shatila.

Might help you add to the list of terrorism in the Middle East.

Madgiggle: Sabra and Shatila an awful place where many Arabs suffer was nearly endloesed by our ally Ariel Sharon. As always with our satelites aid.

1950

March 14: Absentee Property Law; whereby any person who on 29 Nov. 1947 was a citizen or resident of the Arab States or who was a Palestinian citizen who had left his/her place of residence even if to take refuge within Palestine, is classified as an "absentee". Absentee property is vested in the custodian of absentee property who then "sells" it to the Development Authority authorised by the Knesset. The theft of the property of a million Arabs seized by Israel in 1948 is thus authorized.
