there is no comparison between Mig -35 and F-16, I flew both of them.

Do I have to go through the specs again?

I GUESS I DO.

not only Su-35 (which americans admit) but also Mig -35 is far superior to F-16 !
Here are the specs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

F-16 FIGHTING FALCON - SPECIFICATION (not classified info only)

max speed at altitude (km/h) 2000
max speed at sea level (km/h) 1200
max initial rate of climb (m/s) 340.0
g limit in excess of 9g

service ceiling (m) 15 000
range with internal fuel (km) 2100
range with external fuel (km) 3000
intercept mission radius (km) 1400 (6 AAMs and external fuel)
empty weight (kg) MTOW (kg) ~ 9 000
armaments capacity (kg) 2500

sorry I can not be more forthcoming for obvious reasons
::::::::::::::::::::.

And here is RUSSIAN masterpiece, which I also was lucky to fly

MIG-35 XL2, perhaps THE BEST ALL PURPOSE WARPLANE IN THE WORLD!

max speed at altitude (km/h) 2700
max speed at sea level (km/h) 1800
max initial rate of climb (m/s) 430.0
g limit in excess of 12g

service ceiling (m) 17000
range with internal fuel (km) 2800
range with external fuel (km) 3900
intercept mission radius (km) 1900 (6 AAMs and external fuel)
empty weight (kg) ~ 15 000

armaments capacity (kg) 5500!!!! This is what you need if you want to attack the ground troops, minimum 5000 kg of armament!!! Not pathetic 2500!!!!!!! Like F-16 joke!

two completely different aircraft,

MIG can do almost anything!!!!!!! Falcon can fly, that's all!

I also flew Su-35/37 .. but this is a totally different bird. US lack expertise in metallurgical engineering to even
attempt to build bird like that. Maybe, in 20 years the Americans will learn how to forge titanium properly, if they are still around.
+++++++++

It happens, RUSSIANS BUILD FAR-BETTER -WARBIRDS than the USA! Why it is so hard to understand, every pilot knows that!

Pole,

I hope the Russians make better planes than tractors....lol

I bought one in '93 when I had a Landscaping business. Solidly built thing it was. Diesel, 25 HP, rear spindle for a slasher. Cheap at $2,500.

Cost me $1500 in repairs before I got rid of it after 3 months.

Here's the bottom line:

Russia, and most other countries for that matter, cannot stand the idea that the US is at the top of the game.

Russians build good stuff in small insignificant quantities. They have always built great planes. But let us not forget it was Americans who taught the rest of mankind how to fly.

Guess what? We still do.

F/A-22s will soon dominate the skies. And there's nothing Russians can do but tremble.

< Here is a plane that Poland uses >

hate to be busting on the polish. as a second-generation polish-american, i am proud that poland was the birthplace of the movement that instigated the demise of the soviet socialist empire. i am proud that poland was the first warsaw pact country to thrive under free markets, and i am pleased to see their continued support and understanding of the role the US plays in maintaining their freedom and properity.

i spent a couple of months in poland this summer, touring the cities of krakow, warsaw, and lodz (where my grandparents grew up), and could not have been more pleasantly received. despite this "pole" character's anti-semitic and anti-american rhetoric, i think you will find that most polish people are justifiably excited about their country's future as a free democracy and welcome their new friendship with the US.

The Fighting Falcon

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most widely used fighter jets in the world, with over 4,000 aircraft sold by its maker, Lockheed-Martin, to 19 air forces around the world. It is used in air-to-air and air-to-surface attacks. Since it first went into service in 1979, it has become 'the most sought-after fighter in the world,' according to its manufacturers.
The U.S. Air Force describes it as a relatively low-cost, high-performance aircraft that 'has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack.'
The F-16 is considered a backbone of the U.S. Air Force, playing vital roles in recent conflicts. During the 1991 Persian Gulf war, the fighters were used to attack airfields, military factories, Scud missile sites and other targets.
All active units and many Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve units now use the F-16C/D, the most recent and advanced version of the aircraft, with up-to-date cockpit control and display technology. It seats one pilot.
The jet's official top speed is 1,500 mph, with a maximum altitude of 50,000 feet. The craft uses one M-61A1 20mm multibarrel cannon, and can carry as many as six air-to-air missiles, as well as conventional air-to-air and air-to-surface munitions and electronic countermeasure pods. Each F-16C/D costs more than $20 million, the Air Force says.

Mig-29 jets are way over-rated. The us and allies dont have a problem taking them down with F-16's or F-15's

All Migs are shit!

Read below!

NATO shoots down Yugoslav MiG-29 jet over Serbia
By Veselin Toshkov, Associated Press writer

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia -- A MiG-29 fighter jet, the finest in Yugoslavia's air force, was shot down by NATO in a dogfight over Serbia yesterday. As NATO claimed its most successful attacks. Pentagon officials said a U.S. Air Force F-16 shot down the MiG in aerial combat near the Bosnian-Serb border.

On the third day of the conflict -- March 26 -- American F-15C jets shot down two Yugoslav MiG-29s after they entered Bosnia-Herzegovina airspace.

F-16 flying in the air
Got a MIG on his tail, but he don't care
Light the burner, pull the stick, turn it right around
Now the tables turned and he shoots the commie down

Even the Pakistani's have fun shooting Mig's down.

PAKISTAN SHOOTS DOWN SOVIET PLANES FROM AFGHANISTAN
Armed with U.S.-made F-16 fighters, Pakistan shot down a
Soviet made MiG-21 from the Soviet Union. The MiG crashed in
Pakistan.
It is unclear if Soviet flyers manned the jet.
The Soviets are trying to finish off resistance to its
colonial adminstration of Afghanistan. (Christian Science
Monitor, 5/19/86, p. 2)

Even the Dutch are having fun for the first time since World War II taking down those so-called great Mig 29's.

The F-16 is so good even a damn near retard could take out a Russian Mig.

28 March 1999, Washington Post - Bomb Effort Is Unifying for NATO (William Drozdiak and Dana Priest, Washington Post Foreign Service)
When a Dutch F-16 pilot shot down a Yugoslav MiG-29 plane in a dogfight on the first night of NATO's bombing campaign, it marked the first time that the Netherlands had become directly engaged in aerial combat since World War II.

So if Russian equipment is so superior, then it must mean that the people operating it are a bunch of idiots, considering that in any engagement where US equipment went up against Russian equipment, we beat the Russian stuff easily.

What other explanation is there?

I notice when there is concrete evidence to support a claim, people on the other side of the issue move on to other things that cannot be backed up with facts.

Pole says "Russian stuff is superior!" - and claims to be a pilot who flies both.

Well, Pole, any time Russian stuff fought US stuff, US stuff won very easily. You can post all the performance stats you like - maybe you could show how superior the T72 is to the M1A2? But it doesn't matter what they look like on paper - what matters is the real world. And in the real world, the USA is unstoppable.

Lucky we're a peaceful and benevolent nation, or the entire world would be worshipping Bush!
