I was watching a video of super-market chain "X," that quite explicitly admits they oppose any legislation that would put a price on the containers of sodas, beer and other containers. They would even put the money behind politicians who, they proudly say, are "business friendly." The reason is that it would add up to business costs...:confused:

The result is that trash is piling up across America at the same rate as pollution, while businesses merrily participate in the trashing of the Earth...;)

Michigan environmentalists are ready for a major drive to slap a 10-cent deposit on drink containers not now covered by the state's 26-year-old bottle law.

Their pitch: It's time to expand the law to include 750 million empties from bottled water, juices and teas consumed by Michiganians each year and now piling up along roadsides or in landfills.

Few laws have been more popular than the current bottle deposit requirement, which cleared up litter along highways almost overnight. State residents redeem 95 percent of the more than 4 billion beer and soft drink bottles and cans purchased yearly. There's no reason to believe an expanded law would be any less successful, proponents argue.

"I'd pay an extra dime for a bottle of water if it helps with recycling," said 28-year-old Matthew Lee of Ferndale, a union electrician. "Our bottle return policy has worked very well for all these years, I believe, and has helped. Expanding it is an excellent idea."

Slavs have no interest Middle East peace .
In contrary war in Middle East means money boom for Russia. Have you ever heard words of condemnation from US, West or Arabs or Israel in case of terrorist attack on Slavs?
Never.
In contrary, only the words of sharp critics for harsh dealing with terrorists.
I still support an idea of mowing Pope from Vatican and Europe to Jerusalem on Throne of David.

This is how the jungle works more or less: The lion hands out the scraps to the other predators according to their hierarchy in the food chain. The foxes get the largest chunk, then the snake who does the lip service, next the hyenas, then the vulchures, and lastly the parrots who repeat the official lies.

This movie exposes the Corporation, the lion that controls the water well. People often blame this or that politician for the destruction of the environment or wars over resources, but who's really behind them?

Benefactor or psychopath?

Are corporations responsible and productive members of society? Or are they wolves in sheeps- clothing, stopping at nothing to maximize profits? Is profit for real v or are the costs being hidden? Are poverty, war and the destruction of the environment being needlessly advanced by corporate structures?

This is part of the flyers they hand out. I posted there, so let's see...;)

The moral is: Don't pretend to be a lion unless you got real teeth and paws. The big lion admits smaller predators as partners in crime, but never as competition. If you must face a lion, use your own weapons, or better yet, use you intelligence to outwit the beast. Once you dress like a lion, YOU ARE A LION.

The key though lies in the little animals who are indifferent because: a) They are fearful; B) They don't connect that the same lion who's full today, will be hungry tomorrow; and c) They only see a fight between lions, in which case there ain't nothing in it for them...

The hope lies in the Proles, so to speak... ;)

I have lived in Key West for 10 years, and in all this time no [one]
has really addressed the true reasons we have so many homeless people
here. It is the legal system itself that creates the homeless, as well
as the drugs that never stop flowing here in Key West.

So, ask yourself: How many persons will be set free from jail this
week? And how many of them will have no job, no home, nothing? So,
what do they become? Homeless.

Now, they want to pass laws to put you back in jail, to serve time
[and to] get out and do it all over again. There is something wrong
when you get caught with marijuana and get a notice to appear but, if
you're homeless, you're put in jail. Or, if you're out of your house
with an open beer in your hand, you go to jail.

And what about the person who cannot bond out? Well, let's see, he
loses his job, his room or apartment. All because it takes 15 to 30
days before you even [get] to court. So, you go in front of the judge
[to] plea[d] your case for your open beer. Time served, the judge
says. You're a free man, but homeless. No problem. Welcome back to
jail. And here we go around, and around, and around.

So, let's not be so quick to pick on the homeless. It could be you one
day.

The corp reflects the jungle. One has to be big to survive in the
bebt money system because like musical chairs everytime the music stops it the big boys who get to survive and the smaller ones get eaten/taken over or disappear.
Big money has to be smart money and the smart money doesnt
get smart through no imagination. It needs top charging lawyers
and the like and if the client or the smartie hestitate too long they get run over by the bolder.
Attacking the corporation is pointless because they are not the cause, just the survivers who adjust/evolve ("legal and economic structures")to the dynamics of the climate (jungler culture).
This why most greenies are headless chooks.

No objections to terrorism against Slavs:
Perhaps Woj that the ignorance about Jugoslavia on the one hand and the convenient smoke screen of the friction between
member state/provinces plus the relgious division- three ways
made it easy for the main stream western media to tell lies and get away with it.
In comparison Sept 11 with its nonsense conspiracy theory of fundamentalist muslims hating freedom (while they flock to western countries in their millions), the question that are ignored
and left unanswered, the nonsense claims to invade Iraq etc
is a totally different theatrical show in which the Emporer (the main puppet on centre stage) wears no clothes.
And in the recent Serbian elections did we see a party that is trying to address the truth and right the wrongs getting the publics support. No way. It will be the same at the next US election.

I wasnt suggesting any benefit for anyone (except an elite) in a single Palestinian state and one would have to be dreaming to think that the Palestinians would be the wolf minding the lamb. The Palestinians have no benefit under the P.A. with Arafat put in office by the pupeteer. That wont change which ever way it goes. Palestinians in the main will still be second class citizens like many on the other side of the wall.
An elite will rule the Middle east Market to be, to comply with the NWO, one way or another.
Crashing planes into buildings on the otherside of the world will not change this anymore than crashing them into iceburgs floating in the sea.
What money have the US saved in their tie up with ther zionists?

But anyways, I think the jungle makes the corporation and the corporation makes the jungle so it can hawk their often useless products to the unsuspecting little animals. Case in point are junk food, SUVs, guns, etc. Only in an ignorant society they can push their wares without the watchful eye of the Owl, who knows the better needs of society, but it's often silenced...:confused:

There's even a Natural Capitalism waiting in the wings, but the ostrich politicians and business leaders are sticking their heads in the sand.:(

That was right DonQ- the money. Thats what came to mind as I started to read it. There is obviously good money in it or it wouldnt be happening like that. Private prisons says one thing but the choice Judges make out of options says the same thing.
Is this the tough-love approach first celebrated in NY and a Bush running Florida as it was in Texas, need we expect anything more.
Tough love was also practiced by Saddams sons and a hundred other states around the world.
There was a time when people in Britain were sent to Australia for stealing bread/food to survive, in convict ships. Funny thing the ones which carried women took longer. I wonder why.
Evolution? Na everything is still the same.

Sustainability: preying on the citizens in the cause of the money and standard of living for the upper-class is a sure sign the economy is arthritic and cancerous.
There was a time when the US was so prosperous there was a boom in legitimate business, now they have to invent crimes not on the statute books yet to sustain their standard of living.
This is the freedom (to prey) some people will hate.
Its a lot dearer to keep people in prison than in society by hand outs, so the interest is purely private. And the public should get tough-love with the drones who are in office who look the otherway from where their hands are stretching. Same old story the wrong people go to jail. And I can assure you that the regular residents who live by crime know that the system is as crooked as they are which psychologically self-defeating.

Albanians want the UN out and form a seperate republic and the speed up privatisation and join the UEW. Apparently some group referred to as Student leaders have gained some influence in politics.
Sounds like they got an invitation from the Lion to join him for dinner and havent checked the menu.

so he is scapegoating Bush and hiding the greater crime against
the American people (and other nationalities who died at the
sacrificial ground-zero).

And the US supreme Court has ruled that victims of abuse of power having been locked up and held in custody can have access to the Court to complain if treated badly, not over arrest with no charge or being held. How do you file a complaint or bring action if you are never released (and never charged). This is complying with the Patriot Act which allows
arrests with out charge or legal represenatation.
This is the democracy lacking under Hussein which Iraq can now have thanks to Bush.
And now we all can live happy ever after.

barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas
to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their
friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured
to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian
Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of
all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in
the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by
repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act
which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have
warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to
extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the
circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to
their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the
ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would
inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have
been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must,
therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and
hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace
Friends.


We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of Mesopotamia,
in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the
world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by the
Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and
declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and
Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the
ExxonMobil Crown, and that all political connection between them and the
United States, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free
and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude
Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and
Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of
this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine
Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and
our sacred Honor.
