The mission is to keep the waring parties appart. Once Israel is not able to provoke Hezbollah the missles might stop. Remember this invasion has been planned for some time. It was actually brought forward from Sept - Oct which is closer to the mid-term elections in the US. The big question is - why was it brought forward?

But the Israelis are out of control. Remember they kill without consequenses also FN observers as they wish. They kill those who can be potential witnesses to their crimes. What will stop them this time. It was not Hisbollah who started the war.

B- They appear out of control but ou can guarantee everything is running to plan. The potential is for a wider war. Russia might be the only country not frightened of Israel or what it could do.
It is claimed that Russia is defending Syria and Iran, so a general destablisation across the Middle East into a wider war may be the way around this after they get NATO troops based in the area.

I'm not convinced that Russia will defend Iran/Syria besides maybe vetoing in the Security Council. There are a lot of Jews in high positions also in Russia, e.g. the Russian PM is a Jew.

Until 1945, European machine guns kept restive Arabs under control in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, and Palestine.
Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Arab leaders invested in fleets of tanks, field artillery, and other heavy armaments, which they organized into massive formations supported by costly air forces equipped with supersonic jets..

B- Are Jews all the same? I understand that the 'Jewish' centre of power is Moscow, and St Peteresburg is ethnic Russian seat of power.
Putin has wagged his finger at the US that the demise of Iran would expose the Russia's critical sphere of influence/defence.
They have supplied Syria and Iran their high-tech ground to air defence which may in fact be only able to operate through Russian operators, that involves Russia directly if either are attacked.
Russia is now the number one oil exporter. If a war breaks out and the oil-pipe lines and the Gulf become defunct Europe will depend on Russia to survive. Do they want that? China and Japan which is now rebuilding its military wont sit by and play chess while their industry grinds to a halt.
Bush has been threatening Iran for three solid years now and while the world has been diverted they planned Lebanon instead.
As time goes on and things develop Russia is becoming more and more the linch-pin, without trying, just as Iran is becoming for Islam. That's how I see it.

Putin will visit South Africa next week

Trade links between the two countries are in the favor of South Africa with imports from Russia valued at 18.2 million U.S. dollars and exports amounting to 106.5 million dollars South Africa exports vehicle engines, machines and mechanical appliances and fresh fruits while importing mainly the nickel group of minerals.
While South Africa's multinationals such as Anglo American, Standard Bank, De Beers and SAB/Miller have substantial interests in Russia, Russian resources groups such as Norilsk Nickel and Renova have also expressed their growing interest in the exploration in South Africa.
Norilsk Nickel, the world's largest producer of the nickel and palladium group of metals, bought 20 percent of the South African gold producer Gold Fields for 1.16 billion dollars in March 2004.

Putin's trip to Africa, reportedly also including Angola and Morocco, has been described as an endeavor to push Russia's presence in energy and mining in Africa.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez arrived in Damascus Tuesday night for a three-day state visit Describing the two countries under similar pressures from the U.S., SANA attached importance of Chavez's visit here as the two peoples stand "in one ditch against the U.S. hegemony and control".

Thats an interesting one Woj,

Russian corp buying a fifth of a South African gold producer, Russia is the other main gold producer. If they can influence the price of gold to increase slowly it could drive itself by demand and perhaps the dollar will start to get dumped and hurt the US.

STOCKHOLM, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- UN Relief Work Coordinator, Norway's Jan Egeland, has strongly criticized Israel's use of cluster bombs in Lebanon,

UN experts have so far found 100,000 undetonated cluster bombs in more than 350 spots in Lebanon, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reported.

Egeland accused Israel of having dropped many of the cluster bombs in the last hours before the ceasefire became effective.

"Ninety percent of the cluster bombs were dropped over Lebanon during the last hours of the conflict, when we knew there would be a solution,"

"The bombs have affected large areas of agriculture land and private homes

B-"Remember that the Nazi and Boshevists were placed into power for adversary revolutions. They didnt get there by persuading the public."

Grandson of Queen Victoria who was the tsar of Russia created Russian Revolution.
He was so wretched and useless in war with his cousin German Kaiser (also the grandson English queen Victoria ) that crated hatred, loathing and revulsion of Russian society and sparked the Russian Revolutions.
This is fact about which West would like to forget.

Britain defended its role in Afghanistan .

Fourteen military personnel died when a Nimrod MR2reconnaissance aircraft crashed.

The loss, coupled with the death of seven British soldiersin a month in fierce fighting with Taliban guerrillas in the south, revived questions about the nature of the British missionand whether simultaneous deployments in Afghanistan .

Critics say the British troops went to southern Afghanistan to provide security for reconstruction............................................. .

The government are going to have to answer some very, very hard questions about what (British) troops are doing inAfghanistan ? ( Reuters0

B- that era is over Woj you dont have to try and protect the Soviet Unions 'history' of its beginnings. Royal families are related but grandsons, certainly not. The same nonsense about the French royals was used as a cover for the same internationalists and common people suffered as well. Same lies and destruction regards Iraq in our time, for the same international goal.
If you are for it Woj then why your desire for pan-Slavic resistence against it and your criticism of their policies on Poland?
