The war in Iraq is going to take a different turn in the coming weeks. The U S is going to get the job finished in another way.
They are going to let the tribes settle this among themselves, their way. This is going to become a lot more brutal then anything Americans have stomache for

<The little people that each have a little vote, together make the
LION. The lion the true lion, is a congromuration of little people that have banded into one and have become their own lion.
This is what you fail to percieve.
The true lion is the little people. Not small clique, that assumes power by force, then dominates the people, with it's own despotic leadership, until the little people topple the evil from power, as the Russians did..
The taste of freedom is so sweet, that a million like you, could never make them revert to closed society you espouse.
THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TO THE MOUNTAIN,
AND NOW THEY ARE FREE.>

Wait a minute, GI. You are saying "democracy" doesn't work because the little people don't know how to manage themselves and then impose a dictatorship on the big predators? Is that why American "democracy" was taken over by a few fat cats and foxes?

True, in the Soviet Union there was some big lions in power but so they are in China who happens to be your best partner.
Have you seen that happen in the cooperatives though? Who are they preying on?

IN AMERICA, WHERE OPENLY THE DEMOCRATS ARE HURLING ONE HORRIBLE ACCUSATION AFTER ANOTHER AT GEORGE BUSH.

HAD ANYONE OR ANY OTHER PARTY DID SUCH A THING TOWARDS
Stalin and the communist party, they would have been crushed by tanks like the students in the square in CHINA.

As for China being partners with the U S lets get it straight,
we have engaged the chinease as trading partners, and the relationship is working perfectly. The chinease are no longer a communist nation.

they may call themselves communists but we all know this is far from true.

Hopefully soon we will see free elections in china, and democracy will happen as a natural course of events.

DONQ ARE YOU A COMMUNIST, OR A SOCIALIST, per chance?

//Yavlinsky founded Yabloko as a vehicle meant to place the young economist in the presidency, with backing from the coalition of former dissidents, liberal intellectuals and other activists who had helped spur the Soviet collapse.

http://www.washingto...2-2003Nov13.htm

I am not Russian but I think the Soviet collapse was tragedy for Russians, and what so Americans call democracy is act of treason for a motherland.

Fortunately I see light in this tunnel; widespread voter disillusionment with the democracy movement as also a Russians' disillusionment with the capitalist experiments of the last decade with which the two parties are identified
Lets celebrate.! New is born .

Russians have been to the mountain?
Now they are free?

I would say they have come out of a canyon and are now in the valley of decision.

After what they have been put through they need time to re-discover who they are. Any rush to please anyone else will
delay their recovery and in increase instability.

Democracy is not a two party system nor is it the so called Free Market, these dominate in the absense of real democracy.

What the Democrats are doing at present is what the opposition does when an election is starting to come into peoples minds.
If they were in power the Republicans whould be doing the same war dance, its expected of them.

<IN AMERICA, WHERE OPENLY THE DEMOCRATS ARE HURLING ONE HORRIBLE ACCUSATION AFTER ANOTHER AT GEORGE BUSH.>

Because things went wrong and is too tempting to capitalize on it, but few dared to raise their voice when it could have made a difference. Now few Democrats would even dare to call to pull back the troops.

<HAD ANYONE OR ANY OTHER PARTY DID SUCH A THING TOWARDS
Stalin and the communist party, they would have been crushed by tanks like the students in the square in CHINA.>

Agreed. They are/were so much worse.

< As for China being partners with the U S lets get it straight,
we have engaged the chinease as trading partners, and the relationship is working perfectly. The chinease are no longer a communist nation.>

Neither Russia, nor China, just "state capitalism".

< they may call themselves communists but we all know this is far from true.>

And America calls herself "democratic," whatever that is. What's in a name?

< Hopefully soon we will see free elections in china, and democracy will happen as a natural course of events.>

Yeah, yeah, and Santa Claus is coming to town too...;)

< DONQ ARE YOU A COMMUNIST, OR A SOCIALIST, per chance?>

No I ain't. But it's not only the communists who make that claim, but also the anarchists and even the libertarians, very much to the right, not to say the majority of Americans who don't even bother to vote for two faces of the same s***...

"Democrats or Republicans? Who cares?

The Democrats have been playing so much ball this year, it's amazing they didn't win the World Series. There is no opposition between the two major parties. Both want the government to get bigger and control more of our lives."

<For thousands of years ''THE LION'' has ruled the jungle.
If you think , in your lifetime this is going to change, then perhaps you live in some weird dreamworld, thinking that smaller animals will rise up and eat or tame the lion..

This kind of thinking could turn you and your kind into
''DINNER'' >

We may as well be turned into dinner for doing nothing, while watching the lions and violent monkeys fight each other, threatening all the little animals in the process. The only cause worth dying for and fighting for is for the freedom of the little animals and the 'end of the jungle'...

'Would it not make more sense to bring all the nations together that are victims of this world-wide industrial revolution with its concomitant abuses inflicted on the poor of the world to stand against the trans-nationals? Why after three major industrial revolutions in England, Europe, and America do we stand by and let the trans-nationals tell us that these ?underdeveloped

Well done DonQ,
I dont think I have enjoyed a posting of yours more than this one.
The following pretty good as well, although not its first appearance.
The little nations so to speak are as powerless as the public in almost every country in the world.
Forget the U.N., there is much consternation over its ineffectiveness and in particular in the face of the Iraqi
debarcle- the invasion and the compromising of the weapons
inspecters, but it will never bring justice because it was set up by part of the lion set.

DonQ ; are you advising Russia to became an area of small cooperatives so they would join UN in its ineffective way ?

First was work on Gorbaczew so under joke on democracy Russian president could advertise Pizza Hut and caused Russia to collapse and now sabotage with cooperatives curse.

<Donq; I wouldn-t expect a lot from lambs. They agreed to be devoured with tomato ketchup.>

The lambs are doomed--unless they do something. For the first time in history the lions threaten the very survival of everyone.

As Bader said, exposing the lion may just do the trick never before accomplished. I believe the Internet may play a major role in it.

Howdy Bader
Thanks for your comments. The UN is part of the lion as is most of those organizations "challenging" the lion. The same goes for charity organizations. They live off the jungle and want no significant change.

I got a tape home of Kofi Annan denouncing the fact that the lion "never realizes" the problem of hunger around the world, while he wastes in wars and other wasteful projects, presenting it as if it was a problem of "oversight" and not "design"... Have you noticed the lion never sees anything is not in his interest? The homeless, to name just an example, are as part of the American landscape as McDonald's, but he sees nothing. And since since he sees nothing, officially "there's no problem," period...

The truth is the lion's high season comes when there's dry spell for the little animals. Naturally the lion ain't going to do anything to improve the fate of the little animals. They got to build the water well themselves...;)

Better look at history lesson ;
When the large Austro-Hungarian Empire started war on Serbia didn-t expect the result. Austria was reduced to a small republic after its defeat in World War I.
German fought Serbs during WWII and lost WWII .
US fought Yugoslavia and since then is going down the drain.
I think that small but smart countries will eliminate huge and stupid lions. But everything takes time.>

We got no programming here, Woj. He's saying something we need to acknowledge as to be able to counteract. Are you gonna deny this?

HOW POLITICS WORKS

(This little, tiny story is part of a series, in which I explain to my little daughter how things work.)

Politics works like this: Big People of Big Country buy Big People of Little Country, who, by the way, will be elected in "democratic elections" thanks to big bucks; Big People of Big Country give big loans to Little Country (of course, to buy "made in Big Country"); Big People of Little Country pocket a big chunk and invest it in the Big Country, without ever investing in real development (education, health, the environment, etc); Little People of Little Country work for ever to pay back what they never got; Big People of Little Country thank Big People of Big Country in the name of Little Country, and promise to repay the big debt; and Little People of Little Country get big promises, just like Little People of Big Country. And they lived happily ever after...

seem to be always getting troddown by bigger neighbours.

It could appear that you have the cart before the horse WOJ,
regarding the rise and fall of powerblocks etc and their relations with Serbia as though it was David and Goliath.
The LION Inc. plays the divine building up and breaking down
and drawing map-nations and collectives of nations.

Are you aware that a move is afoot to try and resurrect the
Austro-Hungarian entity. Some of the nationalist parties are
supporting it and probably some of the aristocracy families would be my guess as well.
Also the Vatican has also been promoting the
concept of old and new Europe emerging into a new world.
I guess the break up of Yugoslavia and the UE extending further and further eastwards will feed this new dream. Perhaps there
an intention to neutralise the Celt/Britainy/Frank influence in UE.

However there are those who putting it another way see a
patern that reminds them of the first world war starting by an
incident in Serbia being of significance and a portent of things to come. So the cart may not be before the cart yet.

(I repeat what lion-Donq allows me so I can drink at his bar,
wo is me I am exposed)
cheers

It is like a hydra headed beast.

it matter s not what name you go by, the distortions and theory's are all the work of and overly educated, bitter, and
envious, loser.

When the Lion roars, the tiny animals shake and shivver,
as they realize they are on the menu tonight.

whoever you are, you cannot stop tomorrow, and tomorrow is a place that you do not want to see exist. but like the tide of the oceans and the rising sun, it will happen....

Theory 1.

Those who take acception to Lionsville are over educated, bitter
and envious and losers.

Theory 2.

Which grows out of theory one, that those who are indifferent to the Lion are under-educated, happey and winning.

Theory 3,

Those who advocate rolling over and be eaten because someone has to as sure as the sun will rise, because that the way of life, are evolutionists whose only reality is the survival of the fittest.

Theory 4,

If desention is defused the queue to the lions plate is longer
and the life span of some will be longer.

Theory 5,

Those who are evolutionist will queue jump as their personal and self-less contribution to the cause of reality.

Howdy Joe,

MY question exactly regarding your previous post.

Distortions, theories, bitter- fatalism about what is happening
today and tomorrow and forever?

It cannot be disputed that DonQ and I and others have indicated much about a vision of the future. I can't recall you
looking forward only backward, but you can correct me on that.

But regards a glimpse of the future, check out:

newswithviews.com/iserbyt/iserbyt10.htm

footnote eleven is quite noteable.
One of numerous reflections one can make is that it goes to show it doesn't matter a dime who gets into power Republicans or Democrats ( as in any two party 'democratic' political system) the ship of state calls into the same ports and the same political prostitutes do their thing.
Another one is regarding the huge population of Mexicans and others who have illegally enterred the States. There are some strange things going on along the Mexican boarder. One day they ( select age group) will be rounded up and used as cannon fodder to earn citizenship.
Did you get the news a combat equiped group of police visited a school like it was a terrorist camp, in response to allegations of cannabis there, and pointed guns at childrens heads. This is
the good old U.S. of A., today. What tomorrow?
Is this the tomorrow you bravely want to see, Joe?
Are GIs defenders or what?
You chose your name/
