Can't remember the excact source, but I read a few days ago that 40 000 units of individuals and retails where _converting_ from USD to Euro as main currency every day.

If this continues, the Dollar will lose it's place as the main world currency in less then a year. :D

I've said it before, seeing the Dollar crumble would not be in the best interests for any nation or their currency. I am happy the Euro is going well, but we now need the dollar to start performing once more.
We need a fine balance.

DrX,
Who knows? Not any of us. The US Government is trying to shore up the economy and doing a great job at evading the real issues facing America. They are writing cheques they cannot honour. The one's who will pay for there stupidity are the American general public, some of the posters here still don't seem to be able to grasp that idea.
The knock-on effect from a possibly, soon to be, bankrupt nation such as America is too scary to think about.

It's a bite late to sell the 'doll' at the moment....If you still opt to
do so , I think it's better to go for CHF (Swiss Frank) and get their 1'000 Chf notes in cash if you can.

The bottoming probably will have to wait for 2004. We first got to 'test' this years low during 2004.

Greetings Lynn !!

Well....'complicated' at the moment. Some shadowly figures in my surounding did meet a military patrol one night about 10 days back. It was the leader of the ones whom attacked a foreign national whom was down on his knees in a ricefield in the mountains.

Now.....everybody running when they see that 'foreign national' and those alleged A.Sayaf commanders has since then got support from some supposed to be close allied to myself.... Can't 'fight' those the same way , and has descended from the mountains for some days to let their heads cool-down. Will go for a 'visit' after some 3-4 days to evaluate + bring some ice-cream for a Child.....

They now 'blame' the foreign national for about everything and say that he can do whatever he want....THAT THEY DON'T LIKE too
much !
Extortion is going-on. 'Somebody' demands more money etc.etc.

All this begun after the friends (military patrol) of that foreign national 'meet' the commander of A.Sayaf in that rice-field. Luck for him that he did not do any hasty movements = they sure had shoot him.
People in my close-quarters unexpectedly appears to be assisting them...

Will try to access the mail today. Yesterday I was unsuccessfull in that attempt.

For you whom are in USD and can't get out (it's too late). BUY A
PIECE OF LAND IN A REMOTE AREA WITH WATER ACCESS EITHER
FROM A CREEK OR BY A MAX 10m DEEP-WELL.
BEGIN TO LEARN COMPOSTING AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY.

My friend you are always very astute in your replies but this time I would advise you to review your opinion. I said that to invest in Australia would be the best advice I could give to any of my friends.Your grocer store may find out that to ignore good and well meant suggestions may ultimately cost him dearly.

Today one (1) Euro buy 1,175 (touched 175 in the morning).

For not too long time ago , one(1) Euro bought only some 84 cents.

And, today we need only 1.2850 CHF for to buy one (1) USD.
For not too long time back , we needed 1.84 CHF to buy one(1) USD.
"Parity" is closing in fast......

When do you think we get PARITY betwen USD and CHF ? At that time I will travel again.

Eurozone,

Good morning. Yes , it was Euro u talked about. I'm too preockupied with CHF...

To reach 1.25 is only some 800 points away and I believe we must look for a much deeper bottom for the doll.

Myself is expecting parity betwen the CHF and Doll and then the
Euro is somewhere around 1.35 ! We got the whole next year
time for this establishibg a 'bottom' for USD.

Have a nice day

I am a litttle surprised by the strength in the CHF compared to the the euro and other currencies.

Is there anything particular about the swiss?

Look like they are going to beat down gold at the last pivot. Currencies also acting like intervention going on. So it will take a few more months to break through here.
