A united unselfish world-order is needed. When our currencies fall who is the looser? You and I because usually our superannuation funds also loose on value. This can become so bad that when you retire and want to take it easy nothing what you have hoped for is left.

Opalus,

Yes, you are right for those whom is 'locked-in' with USD assets.
The situation is different for those whom did sell the doll in 2001.

Major Arab investors are pulling their businesses and investments out of the US. The new Dept of Homeland Security has provisions which make it possible for US gov to snatch all assets and bank accounts based on only an accusation of some employee involvement with a terrorist group. As no major employer can control the private lives of its employees, major investors are selling and putting their investments into the EU/EUROS - just as Saddam had done before US invaded Iraq. Even more than that Saddam had converted Iraq's money standard to be pinned to the EURO not the dollar.

Drakul,

Ye, this is what they do at the moment or the ones whom can do so. Not all of them at the same time because then they themselves will loose out on a too sharp fall.
Time to buy again (probably in a 2004 monthly double-bottom).

usd , the doll bought 1.8200 CHF. Will aim at parity usd/CHF, and

America is living over it's resources and 'borrow' too much from the future.

America, you shall give to the future , not borrow .

Hi Lynn !!

Yes , it's "changing" when the level of the doll has reached a level
making US products competitive. It has happened before.

Myself will watch for 'parity' betwen USD and CHF before doing anything. Last time usd was down in value, it reached some 1.13 CHF to 1 USD.

However, it might go lower this time around.

-

Hope everythig is Ok. I'm preparing for the grill-feast at Camp Moses at the moment. Many (invited) will be there 24th and 25th
for meal etc. All the Highlanders will sure attend.

Here is also at present several personalities qualified for invitation , but the distance is to great to make it feasible. And...it's still very primitive in the place.

Take care

Reven/VikingRus

PS.

Forgot the 'manuscript' this morning....more in the library.
