I willing to wager you ten quid that if Freddie Flintoff is captain and Vaughn and Trescothick play under him, England will win. Monty Panesar, of course, will shine; after all, Bishen Singh Bedi is one of his gurus.
Get more youngsters like Cook into the squad.
It was a privilege to watch Cook on TV. He played the game like the regular Pom with a stiff upper lip which sometimes smiled and caused Indian hotties to propose to him. Shades of David Gower's grace in Alastair Cook.

Kallis failing was the reason SA won. I firmly believe that, not that I think he's an incredibly selfish batsman with at least 2 eyes on his statistics or anything, of course not, perish the thought.
