I'm bummin' - I was trying to find Ricky Scaggs' "Walls of Time" from Ancient Tomes, which is an old American folk/bluegrass song, but no one's got it on-line.

"Scarborough Fair" is probably my favorite S&G song - beautiful.

I'm listening to the Portuguese folk music now, Meloncillo - very nice. Growing up, I was taught how to play Classical guitar. Much of what I learned was Spanish in nature - I love that style of music. :)

I hope you listened to the song I posted in #42 by Roman Hrynkiv - I'm sure you would like it. It's either Russian or Ukrainian folk music.

Put something of american folk, please... so many times I hear country music in the radio and I like it, but I know nothing about styles, etc.

Then I hope you will like this two pieces (one folk and another classical) by Andr?s Segovia, a famous andalusian guitarist:

I've listened it and I like it... sounds similar to finnish kantele.

You got it. :)

While I'm looking for some videos, here's one from Ricky Scaggs who has been reviving classic American folk, bluegrass and Gospel music. He's an amazing mandolin player:

I'll see what else I can find...

Hank Williams Jr - A Country Boy Can Survive

Johnny Cash - Hurt

I love both of those songs - Cash's "Hurt" is one of the best cover tunes I have ever heard.

Meloncillo - Hank Williams, Jr.'s father and Woody Guthrie were the top folk performers of their time. Hank Senior had a great sense of humor, although I'm partial to Junior's music. :)

Here's one of Hank Senior's songs - the yodeling cracks me up

The Zionists are calling internet forums, "Cyber Terrorism", and they are busy trying to ban free speech on forums like this.

Time is running out...don't waste it on..."what's your favorite music?"...nya...nya....."or your favorite Pizza".

OK, I'll do some superficial chit chat...here you go...

This is a song about the Obama presidency, written by John lennon, with one minor correction with the word Kite:

For the benefit of Mr xxxx,

There will be a show tonight on trampoline.

The Hendersons will all be there,

Late of Pablo Fanques's fair, what a scene!

Over men and horses, hoops and garters,

Lastly though a hogshead of real fire!

In this way Mr.K. will challenge the world.

The celebrated Mr. K.

Performs his feat on Saturday at Bishopsgate.

The Hendersons will dance and sing,

as Mr. xxxx flies through the ring, don't be late!

Messers K. and H. assure the public

Their production will be second to none.

And of course Henry the Horse dances the waltz!

waltz!

The band begins at ten to six,

When Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound.

And Mr. H. will demostrate

Ten sommersets he'll undertake on solid ground.

Having been some days in preparation,

A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

And tonight Mr. xxxx is topping the bill._______
