High probebality Saddam dont have any WMD's. Mostly because they were not very effective even with US assistance. Yes they got a few bunkers which they could not in the Iran war but WMD's are ineffective in most cases. It works for the US because they can use it to get the few remaining tough guys and they also haev effective recourse on it being ineffective on themselves, IE using it in other countries who can go to waste and not care if their own families have to live in it. Just opening up the dam was a lot more effective than the WMD's.

Of course having a working Nuke is a whole another matter.

Also I dont think France and Russia would stand up unless they got reassurances from Saddam that they were not hiding WMD's.

Now the matter of the missing 30000 shells. What good are 15 year old ammo that is lost lying somewhere under some desert sand? I cant help wonder that saddam has lost track of the because the ammo itself is useless after such a long time just like most of the other rockets he got in storage which are more dangerous to the users than the enemy.
