Ireland has frozen 65 million euros in bank accounts, the beneficiary of which is the former head of Yukos, Mikhail Khodorkovsky. It is reported by British newspaper The Sunday Times. It does not indicate the sources of information. According to journalists, the Irish police continue checking accounts, which store a further 36 million euros. There is a suspicion that the money is also owned by Khodorkovsky, but it might not be the sole beneficiary. As noted by The Sunday Times, the Irish authorities believe that Khodorkovsky indirectly placed in Irish banks for a total of around 200 million euros. The money had been frozen before they were going to translate into some offshore account. Investigators initially attributed money held in accounts in Ireland, with drug trafficking or terrorism. "The fact that they belong to Khodorkovsky, was a surprise,"
