Interesting documentary on post Soviet Russia

Here's an interesting documentary on Russia after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Of course it's not a complete history and background, and some parts are not well-covered, well understood or accurately reported, for example, Yeltsin's "re-election" in 1996.


(Yeltsin was not re-elected, the 1996 election was won by the Communists but the results were faked to hand Yeltsin the win. The documentary makes no mention of this and incorrectly claims that Yeltsin won re-election due to support from oligarchs).


So, it's not a perfect version of events but nevertheless it is quite interesting and contains a lot of thought-provoking interviews with some of the main players from the era, mostly Jewish oligarchs who were big bosses in the 1990's.
