Numerically small nationalities of the USSR did not call to war but Yakuts massively fled to the war, so they were allowed to fight ..

The first Chechen war, sniper Volodya-Yakut.

Dialogue General Rokhlin and sniper Volodya-Yakut :

- It was told that you have arrived to the war on their own. For what purpose, Kolotov? -

- I saw on TV, how the Chechens are cutting our snipers. I can not tolerate it, Comrade General. It is a shame, though. I came to kill them. Money is not necessary, Comrade General, I do not need anything . I will go hunting at night. Let me show the place where the ammo and food will be put, and the rest I will do myself. If I feel tired - after a week I come, one warm day for sleep and food and I will go hunting again. No radio and all that is not necessary ... it's hard to carry- I don't need it..

......Surprised General Rokhlin nodded.

What a great honorable nation Yakouts are. Reading his statement in Russian reminds me of Kalmik warriors during WWII, they fought Germans because they claimed superiority over races such as their and Kalmiks WON

After months on the front line, Boris Runov was severely wounded by a German shell, shrapnel shattered his femur. Then 18-year-old minesweeper did not even feel pain. Two months after being wounded, he again with no errors was shooting enemy mines, together with the engineering platoon, he was building bridges across rivers: the Oder, Neisse, spree, Elbe. During the night his company built five crossings: one was real and which was moving tanks and infantry, other bridges were fictitious to bring down the Nazis from the right path.

A few days before winning the approaches to Berlin, Boris Alexandrovich was nearly killed, the Germans broke through the defense line. Then the young Lieutenant was ordered to take his rifle and sweep the forest, where Runov and met a group of fascists of 600 people, the chances of survival were minimal. In broken German, but firmly and confidently he said surrounded his enemies that Berlin has fallen, the Nazis had only one way out - to give up.

Veteran Boris Runov captured more than 600 fascists. He is very active, already visited 70 countries. Last year he flew to the North pole, and his 90th anniversary wishes to go to Argentina.

Towards the end of 1944 Nazi troops were no longer looking to find someone to fight, they were looking for a favorable exit. In Srem they gave themselves by the thousands, many claiming to be Jews for favorable treatment

What an adventurous life the old veteran had. Imagine fighting at Stalingrad and also Kursk.

And the Ukrainian picture.

Last year was a big Holiday here. St Petersburg village transformed into warzone as Siege of Leningrad re-enacted by historians dressed up as Red Army and Nazi soldiers to mark battle's 70th anniversary

The Creator will teach them a lesson and they will learn the true magnitude of what suffering is.

I hope the Kiev criminals don't damage the statue at the museum if the Great Patriotic War in Kiev.

Article in Russian.

Soviet soldiers sent from Europe parcels with not gold rings but with pins and jack-planes.

For Generals- a car, for officers - a motorcycle, for soldiers - a bicycle or accordion.
