Pentagon Deletes Paperwork Detailing U.S. Weapon Shipments To ISIS

Pentagon caught destroying paperwork proving they supplied weapons to ISIS in Syria

A new report reveals that the Pentagon is destroying paperwork relating to U.S. shipments of weapons to ISIS terrorists operating in Syria.

The bombshell joint report by two international weapons monitoring groups Tuesday confirms that the Pentagon continues to ship weapons into Syria in order to undermine the Assad regime's fight against terror.

Zerohedge.com reports:On Tuesday the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) produced conclusive evidence that not only is the Pentagon currently involved in shipping up to $2.2 billion worth of weapons from a shady network of private dealers to allied partners in Syria - mostly old Soviet weaponry - but is actually manipulating paperwork such as end-user certificates, presumably in order to hide US involvement.

The OCCRP and BIRN published internal US defense procurement files after an extensive investigation which found that the Pentagon is running a massive weapons trafficking pipeline which originates in the Balkans and Caucuses, and ends in Syria and Iraq. The program is ostensibly part of the US train, equip, and assist campaign for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF, a coalition of YPG/J and Arab FSA groups operating primarily in Syria's east). The arms transfers are massive and the program looks to continue for years. According to Foreign Policy's (FP) coverage of the report:

The Department of Defense has budgeted $584 million specifically for this Syrian operation for the financial years 2017 and 2018, and has earmarked another $900 million of spending on Soviet-style munitions between now and 2022. The total, $2.2 billion, likely understates the flow of weapons to Syrian rebels in the coming years.

But perhaps more shocking is the following admission that Pentagon suppliers have links with known criminal networks, also from FP:

According to the report, many of the weapons suppliers - primarily in Eastern Europe but also in the former Soviet republics, including Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine - have both links to organized crime throughout Eastern Europe and spotty business records.

The sheer amount of material necessary for the Pentagon program - one ammunition factory announced it planned to hire 1,000 new employees in 2016 to help cope with the demand - has reportedly stretched suppliers to the limit, forcing the Defense Department to relax standards on the materials it's willing to accept.

It is likely that the organized crime association is the reason why the Pentagon has sought to alter its records. In addition, the sheer volume of weaponry continuing to ship to the Syrian battlefield and other parts of the Middle East means inevitable proliferation among unsavory terror groups - a phenomenon which has already been exhaustively documented in connection with the now reportedly closed CIA program to topple the Syrian government. The associations and alliances among some of the Arab former FSA groups the DoD continues to support in the north and east remains fluid, which means means US-supplied weapons will continue to pass among groups with no accountability for where they end up.

One of the authors of the OCCRP/BIRN report, Ivan Angelovski, told Foreign Policy that, "The Pentagon is removing any evidence in their procurement records that weapons are actually going to the Syrian opposition." The report is based on internal US government memos which reveal that weapons shipment destination locations have been scrubbed from original documents.

Falsified and altered Pentagon procurement documents (Click to enlarge):

Is an EUC (End User Certificate) still an EUC if it doesn't include an end user?

Balkan Insight, which is hosting the original investigative report: "Seven US procurement documents were whitewashed to remove reference to 'Syria' after reporters contacted the Pentagon to enquire about whether the exporting countries - Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine and Georgia - had been informed of the destination."

The fact that Foreign Policy, which is the foremost establishment national security publication in the world, would admit that the Pentagon's Syria weapons procurement program is tied to East European organized crime is itself hugely significant. At this point the evidence is simply so overwhelming that even establishment sources like FP - which itself has generally been pro-interventionist on Syria - can't deny it.

FP further reports that the Pentagon program "appears to be turbocharging a shadowy world of Eastern European arms dealers." And adds further that, "the Pentagon is reportedly removing documentary evidence about just who will ultimately be using the weapons, potentially weakening one of the bulwarks of international protocols against illicit arms dealing."

Map/Infographic produced as part of the OCCRP/BIRN report, itself confirmed by Foreign Policy magazine. Notice the map denotes that prior CIA weapons went directly to Idlib province (northwest, section in green) and the Golan border region (south). Both of these areas were and continue to be occupied by al-Qaeda (in Idlib, AQ's Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham). In Idlib specifically, analysts have confirmed genocidal cleansing of religious minorities conducted by AQ "rebels" directly assisted by CIA weapons.

Late last month we featured the story of Bulgarian journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva, who was fired from her job after being interrogated by national intelligence officials for exposing the same Pentagon arms network which is the subject of the latest OCCRP/BIRN investigation. At the time, Al Jazeera was the only major international outlet which covered the story, which confirmed that Bulgarian agents interrogated Gaytandzhieva and "tried to find out her sources." An anonymous source had leaked a large trove of internal government files connected to the arms trafficking to the East European-based Trud Newspaper journalist, which was the basis of her reporting. The newest investigation released Tuesday appears to include some of the same documents, also confirmed by Gayandzhieva.

Trump Has Given Pentagon 30 Days To Develop Plan To Defeat ISIS

January 29, 2017

President Donald Trump has given the Pentagon 30 days to develop a strategy to defeat ISIS.

Following a telephone conversation with Russian President Putin, Trump signed an executive order directing the military to develop a preliminary plan to defeat the terrorists in Iraq and Syria.

RT reports:

It is the policy of the United States that ISIS be defeated," reads the order published on the White House website on Saturday. "Within 30 days, a preliminary draft of the Plan to defeat ISIS shall be submitted to the President by the Secretary of Defense."

The comprehensive plan should include guidelines on the use of public diplomacy, information operations, and cyber strategies "to isolate and delegitimize ISIS [Islamic State, formerly ISIL] and its radical Islamist ideology."

It will also seek to identify "new coalition partners in the fight against ISIS and policies to empower coalition partners" to fight Islamic State and its affiliates.

The number of proposed measures "would depend upon the political risk that the president is willing to take when we do certain things that could exacerbate things with Russia or Turkey," one defense official told Washington Post on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Trump and Putin had their first telephone conversation, in which they expressed their mutual intent to cooperate on combatting Islamic State.

"The presidents have spoken in favor of establishing a real coordination between the US and Russian actions in order to defeat ISIS and other terrorist organizations in Syria," the Kremlin statement said.

Putin emphasized that "for over two centuries Russia has supported the United States, was its ally during the two world wars, and now sees the United States as a major partner in fighting international terrorism."

Both leaders have also agreed to work out a time and venue for a possible meeting, according to the statement.

Taxpayers' money gone to Terrorists - December 14, 2016

U.S. "Military Aid" to Al Qaeda, ISIS-Daesh: Pentagon Uses Illicit Arms Trafficking to Channel Enormous Shipments of Light Weapons into Syria

What is abundantly clear is that the Obama administration has supported both al Qaeda and ISIS-Daesh, providing the terrorists in Raqqa Northern Syria as well as in Aleppo with large quantities of weapons.  The Western media is portraying the Al Qaeda terrorists in Aleppo as "opposition" freedom fighters protecting civilians. This is a big lie: The al Qaeda affiliated rebels in Aleppo have committed countless atrocities, including arbitrary executions of civilians, yet the media is now blaming Bashar al Assad for the crimes committed by the US-NATO sponsored Al Qaeda brigades.

US military aid has been channelled to Al Qaeda as well as ISIS-Daesh. The US has used the illegal weapons market to channel vast amounts of weapons and military hardware to the Syrian "rebels.

This article focusses on the supply routes and illicit trade in small arms used by the Pentagon to deliver weapons to the jihadist "freedom fighters".

These weapons produced in third countries are purchased by the Pentagon. They are then channelled to Al Qaeda and ISIS-Daesh terrorists fighting government forces in Iraq and Syria. These weapons are also used to kill innocent civilians.

*      *       *

According to Jane's Defence Weekly, quoting documents released by the U.S. Government's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), the US -as part of its "counterterrorism campaign"- has provided Syrian rebels [aka moderate Al Qaeda] with large amounts of weapons and ammunition.

The US and its allies (including Turkey and Saudi Arabia) have relied on the illicit trade in light weaponry produced in Eastern Europe, the Balkans, China, etc. for delivery to rebel groups inside Syria, including ISIS-Daesh and Al Nusra. In turn, operating out of the occupied Golan Heights, Israel's IDF has provided weapons, ammunition, logistical support to Al Qaeda rebels operating in Southern Syria.

While Washington's Middle East allies undertake shady transactions in a buoyant market for light weapons, a significant part of these illicit weapons shipments is nonetheless directly commissioned by the US government.

These shipments of weapons are not conducted through internationally approved weapons transfers. While they are the result of  a Pentagon (or US government) procurement, they are not recorded as "official" military aid. They use private traders and shipping companies within the realm of a thriving illicit trade in light weapons.

Based on the examination of a single December 2015 Pentagon sponsored shipment of more than 990 tons, one can reasonably conclude that the amounts of light weapons in the hands of  "opposition" rebels inside Syria is substantial and exceedingly large.

Background: U.S. Weapons Supply Routes "Via Third Countries"

Although the bulk of the weapons and ammunition supplied to the Syrian rebels (including the FSA, Al Qaeda affiliated entities and ISIS-Daesh) are channelled by Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the US is also involved in the routine delivery (originating from third countries) of light weapons to the rebels including anti-tank and rocket launchers.

America's weapons shipments to Syria's rebels are commissioned by the Pentagon (and/or a US government agency) through several intermediaries via private weapons trading and shipping companies from the Black Sea port city of Constanta. None of these weapons under this de facto (unofficial) "US military aid" program are "Made in the USA". These light weapons purchased in Eastern Europe and the Balkans in the illicit market are relatively inexpensive.

Moreover, Washington's decision not to send US made weaponry to the rebels is meant to uphold the camouflage. No doubt, what Washington wants is to ensure that US and/or Western made weapons are not found in the hands of terrorists. As we recall, the White House narrative at the outset of the war in 2011 was: "humanitarian aid" to the rebels, coupled with "some military gear….[but no weapons]" (BBC, October 10, 2015)

US military aid to the rebels channeled (unofficially) through the illicit market, is routine and ongoing. In December 2015, a major US sponsored shipment of a staggering 995 tons of weapons was conducted in blatant violation of the ceasefire. According to Jane's Defence Weekly, the U.S.   "is providing [the weapons] to Syrian rebel groups as part of a programme that continues despite the widely respected ceasefire in that country [in December 2015]."

According to Jane, the shipments of weapons on behalf of the US are entrusted to private weapons traders and shipping companies:

"The FBO has released two solicitations in recent months [early 2015] looking for shipping companies to transport explosive material from Eastern Europe to the Jordanian port of Aqaba on behalf of the US Navy's Military Sealift Command." (Jane.com April 2016)

The shipments of weapons purchased and funded by the US are carefully coordinated, with deliveries to rebels in the North and South of Syria respectively. The weapons are shipped out of the Romanian Black Sea port of Constanta (December 2015):

1) First, to the Turkish Eastern Mediterranean facility of Agalar-Limani near Tasucu in support of rebels in Northern Syria, to be smuggled into Syria with the support of the Turkish authorities. (half the shipment unloaded)

2) The remainder of the shipment to the Jordanian Red Sea port of Aqaba (for rebels in Southern Syria) via the Suez canal. From Aqaba, the weapons would be smuggled into Syria through the Southern Syria-Jordanian border.

According to Jane, the cargo of light weaponry included AK-47 rifles, PKM general-purpose machine guns, DShK heavy machine guns, RPG-7 rocket launchers, and 9K111M Faktoria anti-tank guided weapon (ATGW) systems. It is worth noting that a large share of the RPG rocket launchers were slated for delivery to Northern Syria (see table below).

Also of significance, the Black Sea route to Syria has also been used to ship Ukrainian weapons to Al Qaeda and ISIS Daesh.

994 Tons of Weapons in a Single shipment, Courtesy of Uncle Sam

The following table provides information on the breakdown of the weapons shipment for December 2015 documented by Jane Defense Weekly.

Bear in mind the numbers pertain to a single shipment in December 2015, expressed in kilos (kg).

The amounts are substantial:

The 7.62 x 39 mm refers to ammunition for an AK47. Namely the shipment of 134 tons of ammunition.

The PG 7 VM (2 kg) and PV7 VT (3.3 kg) are anti-tank grenades (which suggests that more than 25,000 PG 7VM units were included in the shipment, and more than 60,000 PG 7VT.)

The total shipment to Aqaba and Agalar is of the order of 994 tons of "humanitarian" R2P light weapons for the "Moderates" in Syria. (in a single shipment out of Romania) among numerous comparable shipments by sea as well as by air.

This trade in light weapons is transacted through private companies on contract to the US government's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), a commercial trading entity acting on behalf of the US Navy MSC:

Stages 1,2 and 3:

1) The Pentagon (or the relevant government agency) instructs the US Navy MSC with details and specifications of the light weapons to be purchased and shipped to Syria's "freedom fighters" via Turkey and Jordan. The ports of delivery are specified. The final destination of the weapons is not mentioned.

2) The Navy's MSC places the order with the FBO.

3) The FBO in turn transacts with private companies for the procurement and shipping of the weapons and "explosive materials" out of Constanta, Romania.

PENTAGON -- US NAVY MSC -- FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (FBO) --  (ILLICIT) PRIVATE TRADERS IN LIGHT WEAPONS, SHIPPING COMPANIES -- SMUGGLED INTO SYRIA THROUGH TURKEY AND JORDAN -- DELIVERED TO ISIS-DAESH, AL QAEDA, AL NUSRA, "MODERATE REBELS", FREE SYRIAN ARMY (FSA), ET AL.

According to Jane's report:"The FBO has released two solicitations in recent months looking for shipping companies to transport explosive material from Eastern Europe to the Jordanian port of Aqaba on behalf of the US Navy's Military Sealift Command."  (emphasis added)

A still from a video released by the Syrian rebel group Jaish al-Izzah on 16 December 2015 shows one of its fighters preparing to fire an ATGW that could be either a 9K111 Fagot or a 9K111M Faktoria, the two being externally identical. Jaish al-Izzah also uses US-made TOW ATGWs. Source: Jane Defence Weekly

Released on 3 November 2015, the first solicitation sought a contractor to ship 81 containers of cargo that included explosive material from Constanta in Romania to Aqaba.

The solicitation was subsequently updated with a detailed packing list that showed the cargo had a total weight of 994 tonnes, a little under half of which was to be unloaded at Agalar, a military pier near the Turkish town of Tasucu, the other half at Aqaba. (Jane's op cit)

The US Navy's Military Sealift Command's (MSC) mission is  to "Operate the ships which sustain our warfighting forces and deliver specialized maritime services in support of national security objectives in peace and war." (MSC mission)

Pentagon Caught Using 10-Year-Old Video To Push For War In Yemen

February 4, 2017

The Pentagon removed a 10-year-old video from its site after trying to pass it off as new evidence that a US invasion of Yemen is justified.

The Pentagon has awkwardly removed a 10-year-old video from its website after trying to pass it off as new evidence that a full-scale United States invasion of Yemen is not only justifiable but is in the interests of ordinary Americans.

On Friday, the Pentagon released footage that showed a man wearing a ski-mask encouraging people to build bombs, with a US Central Command spokesman touting it as an "example of the volumes of sensitive al-Qaeda terror-planning information recovered during the [recent Navy SEAL] operation."

The video was intended to convince the public that Yemen is a hot-bed of terrorists intent on building weapons of mass destruction to destroy the West.

However, the Pentagon quickly removed the video from their website after experts in terrorist media pointed out that the clip was actually 10 years old and not from Yemen.

"The video clip that was posted and abruptly taken down was one of 25 videos that appeared (published) in 2007," said Adam Raisman, a senior analyst at SITE group which monitors online activities by extremist groups.

US military officials tried to downplay the blunder by hyping up the Sunday raid in Yemen's al-Bayda province. The operation was the first offensive authorized by Trump as the new commander in chief.

"It does not matter when the video was made, that they had it is still illustrative of who they are and what their intentions are," Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis said.

CENTCOM spokesman Colonel John Thomas also confirmed that the footage was not current.

"We didn't want it to appear that we were trying to pass off an old video as a new video," he said, without explaining why an old, misleading video was presented to the public at all.

The January 29 mission killed 14 militants. Washington said a Navy SEAL also lost his life during the attack and three others were injured.

Medics at the scene of the raid said that at least 30 people, including 10 women and children, also died as a result.

At least three US officials confirmed to Reuters earlier this week that the operation was carried out without sufficient intelligence, ground support or adequate backup.

Another Bombshell Coincidence That Proves ISIS Works For West (VIDEO)

ISIS, ARMY, MILITARY, OVERTHROW, CREATION, U.S., MEDIA, NEOCONS, CIA'S, ENEMIES, DOLLARS, INVASIONS, TRUTH, WORLDWIDE, POLITICIANS, WEST, COINCIDENCE, PROPAGANDA, OVERTHROWS, QAEDA, AMERICAN, AFGHANISTAN, MAINSTREAM, CRIMINALS,

Magical and logic-defying ISIS is not only suddenly living in caves in Afghanistan where they now project the illusion of perpetual existence just like "al Qaeda" but they are now conveniently in the Philippines where President Duterte had declared the U.S. his enemies in 2016. The ruling elite NEED ISIS to not only exist but to appear indestructible and permanently illusive in order to keep the ISIS script going. This is why the West and its allies have been supporting ISIS since day one with supplies and weapons without which they would not even exist today. This should be enough to anger every single American.

Why is all of this happening? Because it guarantees that the U.S. can continue rationalizing wars, government overthrows, invasions and more attacks throughout not only the Middle East but wherever they decide to retroactively give ISIS "credit" for "explosions" that take place anywhere in the world. Also, the perceived perpetual existence of ISIS guarantees the continued flow of BILLIONS of dollars to the Pentagon Slush Fund and much more. It's a win-win for both the Neocons and the globalists attempting to overthrow Trump but also the Military Industrial Complex.

Given that information is freely and easily available today, anyone can see that the Islamic State or ISIS is nothing more than a convenient proxy army to serve the needs of the West and its allies. Denying this reality is a CHOICE made of ignorance. That selective ignorance is the reason why "ISIS" is alive and well in many people's minds. This is a perfect dream scenario for the criminals who did 9/11 who to this day are still laughing at the idiots who still believe CIA's creation "al Qaeda" did 9/11. Such is the political world we live in.

If you understand this ISIS script and how it's being used to push the globalist new world order agenda and help the US Military Industrial Complex wage more and more war worldwide as the US destroys its enemies help spread this information so that humanity can move forward based on truth not mainstream media lies and propaganda. This truth about ISIS will also help hold politicians accountable and give more voice to politicians like Representative Tulsi Gabbard in Hawaii.

US Special Ops Fighter Caught Leading ISIS In Iraq

6 September 2016.

US special ops fighter exposed as leading ISIS in Iraq

A US Special Ops fighter has been caught in one of the most powerful leadership roles within ISIS, just days after the Islamic State lost one of their most prominent leaders, Mohammad al-Adnani.

Former Tajik Special Forces colonel Gulmurod Khalimov defected last year to ISIS, and has just been promoted to the position of battlefield commander in Iraq.

Zerohedge.com reports:

Khalimov is set to take the position vacated by Abu Omar al-Shishani, also known as Omar the Chechen, who was killed in the Iraqi city of Shirqat, south of Mosul. in early July and whom the Pentagon described as Islamic State's "minister of war."

What makes the ascent of Khalimov particularly embarrassing for the US is that The former paramilitary unit commander of the Tajikistan armed forces received his battlefield training from American advisors and even came to the United States on several occasions to receive special counterterrorism training through the US State Department's Diplomatic Security/Anti-Terrorism Assistance program.

Then last year, Khalimov defected to ISIS where the Daesh forces in Iraq welcomed the new addition to their ranks with open arms especially since he was acquainted with US military and intelligence tactics. Subsequently, the American trained former Special Forces colonel Gulmurod Khalimov received a promotion within the terrorist organization, and has become the group's Iraqi battlefield commander just weeks after

ISIS refused to officially announce that Khalimov had been promoted to the top ranks of the terrorist organization out of concern that he would become a high-priority target of US led strikes in Iraq, but Iraq's Al Sumaria news agency exposed the promotion through a source in Nineveh province.

The placement of Khalimov to lead the terror organization's Iraqi forces is a bit unusual for the Islamic State, who normally maintain only "second and third ranking commanders who lead militants in [Nineveh] province," according to the Al Sumaria source. These Daesh militants tend to keep a low-profile to prevent being "detected and destroyed" by US Forces who remain in a support function in Iraq explained the source.

Khalimov's high profile defection has understandably been a concern for US officials for some time, with the US State Department labeling him a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224 on September 29, 2015 designed to prevent the transfer of currency to individuals known to hold leadership roles in terror organizations. The United Nations Security Council Resolutions and al-Qaeda Sanctions Committee further added Khalimov, who is also a fugitive wanted by the Government of Tajikstan, to its sanctions list in February 2016.

In any case, as has so often been the case in the recent past, a special ops military expert by the US, is now engaged in deadly combat wih his former teacher; further adding to the paradox, his weapons and supplies have also been provided by the US: an odd outcome which, as many have pointed out, benefits just one group: the shareholders of the US military-industrial complex, which always wins no matter who, or how many lives are lost.

Pentagon underreporting civilian deaths in Iraq, Syria

10 November 2016.

According to details released by the Pentagon yesterday, 119 civilians have been killed since 2014 as a result of US-led coalition airstrikes in Iraq and Syria.

Commenting on the details released, the US Central Command's (CENTCOM) Major Josh Jacques was cited by the Guardian as saying that the latest release did not include casualties from coalition airstrikes in mid-July near Manbij, Syria.

Monitoring groups say the Manbij airstrikes killed dozens of civilians. According to Jacques, and investigation into the airstrikes was nearing completion.

According to US military data, the United States has conducted 12,354 airstrikes against Daesh since 2 November 2014, with 6,992 sorties in Iraq and 5,362 in Syria.

Given the scale of the bombing, monitoring groups are deeply sceptical of the Pentagon's figures and stress that it has dramatically underreported civilian deaths.

Yesterday alone, US-led coalition airstrikes killed 23 civilians in Raqqa in one day.

The US airstrikes against the city of Manbij and the surrounding area is also reported to have killed an estimated 200 civilians. At least 56 civilians were killed in one single incident, who at the time the US claimed they "mistook for [Daesh]."

Pentagon Paid P.R. Firm Half a Billion Dollars To Fake ISIS Videos

05 October 2016.

The Pentagon paid a British P.R. firm over half a billion dollars to fake ISIS videos as part of a top-secret propaganda campaign in Iraq.

Bell Pottinger, a London-based right-wing P.R. firm, were given over $500 million dollars to fake videos that appeared to be the work of al-Qaida and ISIS.

Salon.com reports:

It also created news stories that looked as though they were produced by Arab media outlets, and distributed them through Middle Eastern news networks.

The company worked in Camp Victory, the U.S. military base in Baghdad, side-by-side with high-ranking U.S. military officers.

The propaganda videos were personally approved by Gen. David Petraeus - then the commander of U.S.-led coalition forces in Iraq, who would go on to become the director of the CIA. On some occasions, even the White House signed off on the propaganda materials.

These findings are the result of a major investigation by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, a British watchdog organization that is also known for its extensive reporting on the covert U.S. drone wars in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism jointly published its findings in The Sunday Times of London and The Daily Beast. Reporters reviewed government and corporate reports and interviewed half a dozen former officials and contractors involved in the Iraq propaganda campaign.

The former chairman of Bell Pottinger, Timothy Bell, told reporters that his company worked on a "covert" military operation "covered by various secrecy documents." The firm reported to the Pentagon, the CIA and the National Security Council.

Bell is a P.R. virtuoso who carefully crafted the image of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, a hard-line right-wing leader. Bell helped propel the Conservative Party to win three elections. (Thatcher later returned the favor by nominating Bell for a knighthood.)

Bell has also worked with several repressive regimes. He has lobbied on behalf of the draconian Saudi monarchy, and The Economist reported in 2008 that the authoritarian regime in Belarus had "hired a U.K. spin doctor, Lord Timothy Bell, to polish its image abroad."

In 2011, the Bureau of Investigative Journalism exposed how senior executives at Bell Pottinger suggested they could manipulate Google results to "drown" out negative coverage of human rights violations and child labor. They also revealed that the P.R. firm has a team that "sorts," or alters, negative Wikipedia entries on its clients.

According to the organization's new investigation, Bell Pottinger worked during the Iraq War as a contractor under the U.S.'s Information Operations Task Force and Joint Psychological Operations Task Force.

The fake al-Qaida propaganda films the P.R. company helped to produce were used to monitor people watching them. The videos were burned on CDs, which U.S. Marines would drop in locations such as houses they were raiding. The CDs included software with an embedded code which linked to a Google Analytics account, allowing the U.S. to monitor IP addresses that played the CDs.

In addition to the fake al-Qaida videos, Bell Pottinger made TV segments that looked as though they were produced by Arabic-language news networks. Teams would create news packages and then send the videos to TV stations across the Middle East. The fact that the stories were created with the support of the U.S. government was sometimes kept hidden, the Bureau reported.

A former Information Operations Task Force employee said the U.S. government used contractors partly because they were operating in a legal "gray area."

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism called the propaganda campaign "a huge media operation." It cost more than $100 million per year, on average, and employed as many as 300 British and Iraqi staff.

From 2007 to 2011, the Pentagon paid Bell Pottinger $540 million, the Bureau confirmed. The reporters were also told that the P.R. company made an additional $120 million in 2006, putting the potential total at at least $660 million.

Bell Pottinger entered Iraq in 2004 with the goal of "promotion of democratic elections" and a $5.8 million contract. This soon grew enormously.

The British P.R. company was not alone. "Iraq was a lucrative opportunity for many communications firms," Bureau of Investigative Journalism reporters Crofton Black and Abigail Fielding-Smith wrote. They found that at least 40 media companies were paid for services in Iraq from 2006 to 2008. But Bell Pottinger received the largest contracts.

A former video editor for the company called the work "shocking, eye-opening, life-changing." He also said, "Somewhere in my conscience I wondered whether this was the right thing to do."

In 2005, it was revealed that the Lincoln Group, a Washington P.R. firm, had worked with the Pentagon to plant news articles in Iraqi newspapers, in what U.S. military officers called an essential part of an "information war."

Assad Has Audio Of ISIS Talking With US Military Before Airstrikes

27 September 2016.

Assad says that Syrian intelligence has audio recordings of ISIS militants talking with the US shortly before airstrikes on Syrian troops

President Bashar al-Assad has an audio recording of a conversation between ISIS terrorists and the US military prior to the US airstrikes on Syrian troops.

The Military Intelligence Directorate intercepted a conversation between ISIS leaders and US troops shortly before their airstrikes near Deir ez-Zor on September 17.

Sputniknews.com reports:

"The Syrian Army intercepted a conversation between the Americans and Daesh before the air raid on Deir ez-Zor", Hadiya Khalaf Abbas said as quoted by the Al Mayadeen broadcaster.

US warplanes hit Syrian government troops near the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor on September 17, leaving 62 military personnel killed and a hundred wounded. The Pentagon said initially that the airstrike was a mistake and targeted Daesh militants.

The head of the Syrian parliament, added during her visit to Iran that after the coalition's airstrikes on the government troops US military directed terrorists' attack on the Syrian army.

The attack on government positions put to test a US-Russia brokered nationwide ceasefire that came into being in Syria earlier that week. Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said last Friday it was necessary to separate Daesh terrorists from "moderate" opposition forces in order to salvage the truce.

Britain, Australia and Denmark confirmed their air forces' participation in the deadly airstrikes.

The politician noted that the details would be made public later.

Syrian Defector: US Commanders Told Us To 'Help' ISIS

September 2, 2017

Syrian rebel defector claims US commanders told fighters to help ISIS

A US-backed rebel who was stationed in southern Syria claims that US commanders traded weapons and ammunition with ISIS terrorists, and ordered troops to 'support' the terrorist group.

Asaad As-Salem, a former militant who defected from the Maghawir al-Thawra group, alleged in an interview with Rossiya-24 that US-backed 'moderate' militants were under strict order not to harm ISIS.

Thelastamericanvagabond.com reports: Their US and Norwegian instructors, stationed at the base, taught the militants to fire US-made weapons, trained mortar squads and conducted courses on accident-free driving on the battlefield.

The reality, however, differed from the proclaimed goal of fighting terrorists, as the unit has never seen action against IS and its commander actually traded the US-supplied weapons with the terrorists - all while the American instructors, deployed at the base, turned a blind eye, the former militant claimed.

"When we learned that our unit's leader was selling weapons to ISIS terrorists, we reported that to American base command, but following our report no action has been taken, the Americans only ramped up the support to the man who was appointed our commander and who was dealing with ISIS," As-Salem said.

"And he was selling all sorts of weapons our unit possessed, US-made small arms, M-16 and M-4 rifles, recoilless rifles, various machine guns and ammunition for them."

The areas controlled by the US-backed militants along the Syrian-Jordanian border were cut off from IS-held regions by Syrian government forces and its allies in June, rendering their declared goal of "fighting terrorism" entirely obsolete.

The US, the former militant believes, never actually intended to battle IS in the south of Syria, but wanted to create and expand its influence. He said the US advisors supported only those who can be used to fulfill their own goals, showing no interest in helping civilians.

"There's no support for the local populace, the Americans are not interested in anything except pursuing their own goals. There's a refugee camp, Rukhban, for example, located some 20 kilometers from the American military base…" As-Salem told Rossiya-24.

"Some of the people residing in the camp are relatives of those militants, collaborating with Americans, while the others are civilians from At-Tanf. There are no suitable living conditions there, children have nowhere to study, there's no healthcare, the Americans support only those people who they use to pursue their own goals. All in all, I'll tell you, they behave like invaders."

Although the militant's claims cannot be independently verified, US special forces have indeed, since last year, been based at At-Tanf, located at a strategic Syrian highway border crossing with Iraq.

While the US-led coalition claimed the base was used to fight against Islamic State - they have, on several occasions, opened fire on Syrian government forces approaching the area.

Russia's foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a news briefing Thursday that the information obtained by the Rossia-24 correspondents should be thoroughly examined by international organizations.

"Certainly those materials need thorough examination by competent organizations, including international organizations. These materials tell us that the American coalition, the so-called coalition, does not what was proclaimed, i.e. not fighting terrorists in the southern Syria, but pursues its own goals," Zakharova said.

"One of the goals is creation of their own sphere of influence in the country, exhausted in the fight against terrorism. In order to achieve that, according to witness reports, various means are being used, including direct transfer of foreign-made weapons to militants, as it happened at the At-Tanf base in the south of the country," she added.

The information revealed by the rebel defector should not be surprising, as covert and overt support for various rebels worldwide is a usual practice by the US, political commentator and journalist John Wight believes.

And it explains the nature of the US airstrikes on the Syrian government and allied forces.

"It adds an extra and murkier dimension to US airstrikes, that were conducted against pro-Syrian government forces as they approached At-Tanf back in June this year, suggesting that rather than motivated by a desire to protect so-called moderate rebels that the US was supporting at the time, they were carried out with the desire to conceal the activities that are being described by this Syrian rebel defector regarding providing arms to ISIS and other Salafist jihadi groups," Wight told RT.

The reportedly dire conditions in the refugee camps controlled by the US-backed rebels are not surprising as well, since "the US is not really interested in welfare of the Syrian people," Wight said.

"I can tell they have never been interested in the welfare of the Syrian people," Wight told RT.

"The Syrian people have been used as a proxy and as a justification for the US presence in Syria with its own hegemonic agenda in mind."

Russia Accuses US Of Colluding With ISIS In Syria

FORCES, ARMED, ISIS, ATTACK, BATTLING, GOVERNMENT, STRIKES, PALMYRA, U.S.-LED, FIGHTING, CONFRONTATION, MILITIAS, U.S., TROOPS, MILITARY, AMERICANS, AIRSTRIKES, ASSAD-ALIGNED, BORDER, ASSAD, SUROVIKIN, RAQQA, RUSSIA, SYRIAN, TERRORISM, TRUMP, ISLAMIC, RUSSIAN, SYRIA,

June 10, 2017

The Russian military has accused the U.S.-led coalition of providing safe passage for ISIS terrorists to leave the area around its stronghold of Raqqa in Syria.

General Sergei Surovikin, commander of the Russian forces in Syria, claimed in a briefing that ISIS recently made a deal with Kurdish forces to leave two villages located southwest of Raqqa and head toward Palmyra, instead.

Surovikin said that "it looks like Americans use IS in order to forestall the advances of Syrian government forces under the excuse of fighting international terrorism."

Carey Wedler for Anti Media reports:

The general claimed the Kurds and U.S. forces "collude with the leaders of the IS, who surrender the areas under their control and head to provinces where Syrian government forces operate."

According to Surovikin, "There is an impression that under the slogan of fighting international terrorism in Syria the Americans are using IS to offer resistance to government forces' advances."

If this is the case, it would certainly fall in line with the U.S. establishment's opposition to the Assad regime and their consistent calls for the Syrian president's removal from power. Though President Trump initially campaigned on the platform of moving away from America's longstanding policy of regime change and nation-building, his administration shifted gears in April following a chemical weapons attack that the West pinned on Assad, despite refutations from some experts. During his time in office, President Barack Obama also repeatedly called for Assad's removal, as did Hillary Clinton.

The Russian general further criticized the United States on Friday for attempting to attack Syrian government forces in Syria as the Russian military and pro-Assad troops continue to attack the Islamic State directly. Though the United States has certainly launched airstrikes against the terror group, it has also ramped up efforts against Assad-aligned forces, which are directly battling ISIS - a contradictory stance if the top priority is to destroy ISIS, as the Trump administration has claimed.

Despite the fact that Iranian militias within Syria are effectively battling the Islamic State, the United States has pushed for direct confrontation with those militias as they have attempted to retake the southern border region of Al-Tanf. Just this week, the United States launched two airstrikes on pro-government forces, drawing criticism from the Syrian government. The U.S. military also shot down an armed drone that allegedly dropped munitions over a U.S. coalition training base.

The U.S. has justified these actions claiming Syrian-allied troops threatened their training camp in the country, but Surkovikin dismisses these justifications. He "dismissed the U.S. argument that Syrian government forces there posed a threat to the training camp as 'absurd' and criticized Washington's action as a violation of Syria's sovereign right to protect its border," according to U.S. News.

Indeed, the United States is an outside invading force in Syria, and though Russia is far from innocent in its bombings - and is responsible for many civilian deaths, just like the United States - it is a Syrian ally that was welcomed into the country, as was Iran.

Col. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi of the Russian military's General Staff also questioned the U.S. military's motives:

"Having declared the goal of fighting international terrorism, the coalition strikes Syrian troops while letting IS militants exit the encircled areas unhampered, thus boosting terrorist groupings around Palmyra and Deir el-Zour. It raises a question why they do it and what their real goals are."

Welcome Home ISIS! The Obama Administration's Plan to Reintegrate Foreign Terrorist Fighters

19 December 2016.

Allegations of US-support for pseudo-Islamist terrorists around the world often fall on deaf ears and are dismissed as the mad ramblings of conspiracy theorists.

According to numerous scholars, including Noam Chomsky, Michel Chossudovsky, and many others, the United States has a long and well-documented history of supporting mass murderers around the world, both covertly and overtly.

As many researchers have reported, the Government of the United States has supported genocidal military dictators around the globe as well as violent extremists, ranging from death-squads in Latin America to MKO terrorists in Iran as well as acts of aggression in other parts of the world.

US-support for the Mujahidin, al-Qaeda, and the early Taliban has been widely reported as has American support for the internationalist terrorists who overthrew Qaddafi and those who have exceeded all bounds in their attempt to annihilate Iraq and Syria.

Despite the clear and present danger that so-called Radical Islamist terrorists pose to the Western world, political and intelligence analysists report that the US administration has continued to use them as "useful geopolitical tools" to weaken and destabilize nation-states.

And while the United States government finally appeared to take a moral stance against ISIS by passing the Fortenberry Resolution on March 15, 2016, and holding the terrorist group responsible for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, it has no intention of actually prosecuting any returning terrorists, and never had the intention of bringing any of them to justice.

As FBI Director James Comey indicated in an interview with "60 Minutes" on October 7, 2014, American citizens who are fighting with ISIS are "entitled" to return to the US. Such a position, however, is in blatant violation of United States Code, Section 1481, which states that:

A person who is a national of the United States whether by birth or naturalization, shall lose his nationality by voluntarily performing any of the following acts with the intention of relinquishing United States nationality- …(3) entering, or serving in, the armed forces of a foreign state if (A) such armed forces are engaged in hostilities against the United States, or … (7) committing any act of treason against, or attempting by force to overthrow, or bearing arms against, the United States, … , or to levy war against them, if and when he is convicted thereof by a court martial or by a court of competent jurisdiction.

What is more, current US law also states that it is a crime to provide material support to a terrorist organization which includes joining or attempting to join a terrorist group. Finally, the US Neutrality Act also makes it a crime for American citizens or residents to fight against a government with which the US is not officially at war.

Under the Obama administration, however, the law did not apply. Rather than arrest, prosecute, and punish war criminals and traitors, James Comey, the FBI Director, reported that returning ISIS terrorists were merely being "tracked." In fact, on November 13, 2015, the FBI admitted that it was engaged in nearly 1,000 active probes involving ISIS members, sympathizers, and supporters on US soil. Typically, however, whether it is in Europe or the United States, we only learn that a person was "under surveillance" after they have committed mass murder.

Over a year earlier, on September 22, 2014, President Obama admitted that American ISIS fighters had returned to the United States. Rather than have them detained, charged, and convicted, he reported that they were being tracked closely. That is like telling parents that the State is simply keeping violent pedophilic sexual predators under surveillance rather than holding them accountable for their crimes.

On September 30, 2014, the Brookings Institute published an article by Daniel L. Byman and Jeremy Shapiro that argued that "the danger posed by returning fighters is both familiar and manageable."

A policy briefing, titled, Returning Foreign Fighters was published by the Brooking Institute on August 15, 2015, argued in favor of reintegration of foreign fighters as opposed to criminalization.

In May of 2016, the US Department of State and US Aid published their Joint Strategy on Countering Violent Extremism which calls for the "rehabilitation and reintegration" of violent extremist radicals "back into society."

In a study titled ISIS in the West, published by the New America Foundation in November of 2015 and updated on March 22, 2016, Peter Bergen, Courtney Schuster, and David Sterman, described the threat of returning terrorists as "low" and "likely … manageable."

Apparently, the US administration also had its Obama-Muslims on board who supported the suicidal plan to reintegrate returning terrorists fighters.

Humera Khan, the Executive Director of Muflehun, a think tank specializing in preventing radicalization and countering violent extremism proposes four intersecting strategies to combat extremism:

preventing radicalization, intervening on behalf of individuals who have radicalized, interdicting or finding and prosecuting those who have engaged in criminal behavior, and reintegrating into society those offenders who are in prison, have served their term, or are returning from conflict zones.

While reasonable people agree with prevention and intervention, the notion of rehabilitating terrorists who are guilty of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity is morally and ethically objectionable.

It is one thing when a naïve, idealistic youth, who was brain-washed by some manipulative Salafi / Wahhabi / Takfiris, goes to Syria, sees that he has been lied to, realizes that the "Islamic" State is actually a "Satanic" State, repents, returns home, and atones. Such a youth could eventually be completely de-radicalized and prove useful in preventing the radicalization of others.

It is another thing altogether when a committed person, who is fully aware of the criminal actions of ISIS, joins them eagerly, torturing, mutilating, and murdering people, beheading babies, exterminating Christians, Shiites, Sufis, traditional Sunnis, and Kurds, as well as raping, enslaving, and trafficking women, returns to the Western world.

Despite endorsing the Fortenberry Resolution, which finds ISIS guilty of war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity, the US Government, under Obama, has had no intention of bringing ISIS terrorists to justice, either here or abroad.

Like the European governments, who feel that prosecuting returning terrorist fighters is "impractical" and "difficult," the American administration argues that the International Human Rights Tribunal does not have jurisdiction over Syria and Iraq. Ironically, the US administration has no qualms about jurisdiction when they attack, bomb, invade, and occupy sovereign nations.

Through statements from government officials, policy recommendations from think-tanks, as well as reports from a number of sources close to the White House, it was US policy, under Obama, not to arrest and prosecute ISIS fighters returning to the United States, but to attempt to "reintegrate" them into US society, thus putting all Americans at risk. First the Cuban Exiles, next the Contras, and now this.

The same policy has been in place in Saudi Arabia for some time, where returning terrorists are "re-educated" to view this or that foreign enemy, rather than the Saudi regime itself, as the proper objects of their "jihad" against unbelievers. It has met with little success.

By embracing the "Countering Violent Extremism Strategy," the Obama Administration betrayed an incredibly naïve view of the threat posed to the West by Takfiri terrorists. In fact, it leaves some to suspect that "reintegration" may be part of the deal the US made with certain ISIS fighters, either as a sort of retirement package or a way of putting valuable assets on ice for possible future reactivation. And the Feds may fear if they do not keep their end of that bargain, ISIS will respond with large-scale attacks inside the US.

Readers should definitely search "War College Counter-Insurgency Policies" plus "Salvadoran Death-Squads," since it appears that the US plan for ISIS may incorporate elements of the model that was used with both the death-squads and the Contras. The BIG DIFFERENCE here is that the death-squads and the Contras did not ultimately declare war on the US, which would make ISIS the greatest foreign policy debacle in US history.

All Americans should be shocked that such policies have been proposed and even more scandalized that they have been implemented. In March of 2016, the House of Representatives declared by a unanimous vote the actions of ISIS to be genocide; this conclusion was echoed by Secretary of State John Kerry. Yet the plan appears to be not to arrest and prosecute these war criminals and ship them to Guantanamo, but to attempt to reintegrate them into society - perhaps after a short "vacation," perhaps not.

US Trying To Save The Terrorists In Syria's Aleppo- Analyst

13 October 2016.

The United States is doing its level best to save the terrorist groups in Aleppo in order to maintain leverage for its ultimate goal of regime change in Syria, according to James Jatras, a former US Senate foreign policy analyst.

Jatras also pointed out that there are no moderate groups in Syria, which is the reason why the US says it can't separate them from the terrorists. moderate rebels

Press TV reports:

What the Americans are really doing is protecting terrorists but they do not want to admit it, he added.

Jatras further stated these terrorist groups use the Syrian people as "human shields" and "propaganda tools" to hold up for atrocity claims.

"They have every incentive themselves to either put these people in the line of fire or even to launch weapons against them themselves and say look what the Syrian government is doing, look what the Russians are doing. These people do not care about the people of Syria. All they care about is their ideological goals," he said.

The analyst further expressed hope that the Obama administration does not go too far in escalating violence in Syria.

He is also of the opinion that the United States would prefer not to have a "direct confrontation" with Russia, adding that it wants to keep things simmering until Hillary Clinton is elected president.

He further argued that if the Russians believe their forces are being targeted by American forces, they have the will to "react forcefully."

Relations between the US and Russia have deteriorated over a number of issues, including the war in Syria.

A brief ceasefire in Syria that was brokered by Russia and the US collapsed last month.

The truce aimed to allow humanitarian access and joint attacks against militant groups, which were not covered by the agreement, including Daesh and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham.

Russia criticized the US for not doing enough to rein in militants in Syria to protect the truce deal.

Russia Vetoes UN Proposal To End ISIS Fight in Syria

Russia has condemned the UN and Western governments for attempting to thwart their attempts at defeating ISIS in Syria, vetoing a UN Security Council proposal to end fighting.

Russia vetoed a French-drafted resolution that would have ended air strikes against key ISIS strongholds in Aleppo.

Aljazeera.com reports:

It is the fifth time Russia has vetoed a UN resolution on Syria during the more than five-year conflict.

The previous four times Russia was backed by China, but on Saturday China abstained from the vote.

Eleven of the 15 council members voted in favour of the draft resolution.

A UN resolution needs nine votes in favour and no vetoes to be adopted. The veto powers are the US, France, Britain, Russia and China.

After Russia's veto, the council moved to the second vote on the Russian-drafted text, but it failed to gather enough votes to pass.

"It was a day of high drama at the Security Council," said James Bays, Al Jazeera's diplomatic editor, reporting from the UN headquarters in New York.

"The Russian ambassador called it a 'spectacle'. I was talking to him just moments ago as he was leaving. he said no one wins and we need to go back to  diplomacy.

"But certainly some ambassadors were pointing the finger at Russia because, of course, the first resolution that was proposed by France, which suggested that all military aircraft over Aleppo should be grounde,d would have gone through if it wasn't for the Russian veto."

After Russia's proposal failed to gather enough votes, Matthew Rycroft, Britain's ambassador to the UN, asked Russia to "Stop bombing Aleppo now".

"It [the Russian proposal] failed because it failed to demand an immediate end to the aerial bombardment of Aleppo," he said.

"It's a sham. Just as Russia's hollow commitment to a political process in Syria is a sham. The indiscrimiunate bombing of civilians in Aleppo is sickening and barbaric. Please stop now."

In response to Rycroft's comments, Vitaly Churkin, Russia's ambassador to the UN, said "the UK should stop supporting terrorists instead".

"Stop supporting all the villans across the world including terrorists," he said.

Stop interfering in the internal affairs of soverign states. Stop your colonial habits. Leave the world in peace and then maybe, things will improve in many areas and regions of the world."

In the run-up to the votes, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Germany's foreign minister, said the mounting tensions between the US and Russia had created a situation "more dangerous" than the Cold War.

John Kerry, the US secretary of state, has made clear his anger at the Syrian army's Russian-backed assault on Aleppo, saying that its bombing of civilians could amount to a war crime.

Syria has made significant advances in its renewed two-week-old offensive in Aleppo, seizing territory to the north and pushing back the front line in the city centre.

The front line had remained largely static since the rebels captured the eastern districts in 2012.

Since the government's offensive began on September 22, a few days after a joint US-Russia-brokered ceasefire collapsed, at least 290 people - mostly civilians - have been killed in rebel-held areas, 57 of them children, says the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) monitoring group.

And 50 civilians, including nine children, have been killed in rebel shelling on government-held areas of the city, according to the SOHR, which relies on a network of sources on the ground.

It said government forces were making further advances on Saturday in the lead-up to the Security Council session.

The SOHR reported heavy air strikes on the rebel-held Fardos and Sukari neighbourhoods.

The assault by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces has led to a global outcry after air strikes on hospitals and a UN aid convoy.

The offensive has also elicited a warning from Staffan de Mistura, the UN envoy, that eastern Aleppo could be "totally destroyed" by the year's end.

Council members held negotiations during the past week on the French proposal for an end to the bombing of Aleppo, access for aid deliveries and a ban on military flights over the city.

Churkin said the French measure was "hastily put together" and suggested it was "not designed to make progress … but to cause a Russian veto.

"I cannot possibly see how we can let this resolution pass".

Russia: US Just Defended ISIS By Killing Syrian Troops

18 September 2016.

Russia claims that the U.S. just defended ISIS by killing their allies in Syria

Russia has accused the US of defending ISIS terrorists after the White House jeopardised a ceasefire by launching airstrikes against the Syrian Army.

Putin has called an emergency UN Security Council meeting after US-led coalition forces killed 62 Syrian soldiers and injuring 100 more.

The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a blistering attack on the Obama administration, accusing them of serving ISIS interests.

"If previously we had suspicions that Al-Nusra Front is protected this way, now, after today's airstrikes on the Syrian army we come to a really terrifying conclusion for the entire world: The White House is defending IS [Islamic State, formerly ISIS/ISIL]," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Rossiya 24.

"We demand a full and detailed explanation from Washington. That explanation must be given at the UN Security Council," she added.

Sputniknews.com reports:

The statement by the Foreign ministry comes in the wake of accusations by Russia that the United States has not been dealing in good faith in the ceasefire agreement with Russian General Vladimir Savchenko saying that "the situation is worsening" with rebel forces escalating their attacks since the agreement went into force on September 12.

"Russia is exterting all possible effort to restrain Government troops from returning fire," Senior Army General Viktor Poznikhir said.

The harsh response by Russia comes not only after the United States attempted to flip the blame on Moscow for the attack that killed 80 forces according to the SANA news agency, but also after reports that Daesh terrorists engaged in a major offensive right after the American airstrike crippled the Assad regime's forces.

Speaking on Rossiya 24 Television the Rusisan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said: "If earlier we had suspicions that the Nusra Front is protected this way, now, after today's airstrikes on the Syrian army we come to a really terrifying conclusion for the entire world: the White House is defending IS [Islamic State or Daesh)."

Rt.com reports:

The ministry added that the Russian side had never been notified of US plans to carry out bombings in the Deir ez-Zor area.

"Immediately after the airstrike by coalition planes, Islamic State militants launched their offensive," said the chief of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, Lieutenant General Vladimir Savchenko. He added that the Russian air force intervened immediately to halt terrorist advances and have conducted at least 10 airstrikes on Islamists' positions since 7:00pm local time.

"[US coalition] strikes have cleared the way for ISIS fighters to take over Deir ez-Zor city now," confirmed Syrian Minister of Defense Fahd Jassem al-Freij. "It is only because of Russian Air Force support [that] the offensive of the terrorist group was stopped. We request that the air support for the Syrian armed forces be continued by the Russian air force in order to destroy the terrorists."

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that US air strikes against Syrian government forces jeopardize the Syrian ceasefire deal reached between Moscow and Washington on September 9.

However, an unnamed US military official told Reuters that he was "pretty sure" that the targets hit in US-led coalition air strike on Saturday had been Syrian forces.

According to the official, the bombings in Deir ez-Zor were carried out using US intelligence, which was being gathered for days. The US attack stopped as soon as Russia notified the American side that they had been hitting the Syrian military, the source added.

A senior Obama administration official told AP that the United States expressed "regret" for the unintentional loss of lives of Syrian forces, with the message to Damascus allegedly having been relayed through Russia. The official, who requested anonymity, added that the US will continue to pursue compliance with the ceasefire previously agreed upon with Russia.

Russia: U.S. controlling an "international terrorist alliance"

30 September 2016.

The correspondent who sent us a Paul Craig Roberts piece noted that it was a "rather depressing article" on events in Syria. We are not posting it however, because since it first appeared nearly a week ago events have overtaken it.

In particular Russia's position over Syria vis-à-vis America has undergone something of a sea-change.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova described recent U.S. State Dept. announcements as tantamount to calls for the use of terror against Russia. Click to enlarge

First a U.S. air strike near Deir- ez-Zor, which killed over 80 Syrian troops, was described by President Assad "definitely intentional". His accusation was underlined by disclosures that the Syrian Army had intercepted radio communications between ISIS and the U.S. military shortly before the U.S.-led Coalition air strikes took place.

Now Moscow has accused the U.S. of effectively supporting terror and even encouraging terrorists to attack Russia. According to Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov:

"We cannot interpret this as anything else apart from the current US administration's de facto support for terrorism," he told Russian agencies.

"These poorly veiled invitations to use terrorism as a weapon against Russia shows the political depths the current US administration has stooped to in its approach to the Middle East and Syria," Mr Ryabkov said.

Echoing Sergei Ryabkov, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby's warning of a collapse in cooperation over Syria as tantamount to a call for terror against Russia.

While Russia's envoy to the UN, Vitaly Churkin accused the U.S. and its allies of supplying Al Qaeda linked Al-Nusra Front with "tanks and heavy weapons".

In other words Russia is now confronting the fact that the U.S. and its allies are behind most "terrorism". What will happen next is an open question but the days when Russia compliantly played along with Washington's "War on Terror" charade may soon be over.

Instead of cooperating with the West in its supposed anti-terror campaign Russia and its allies could soon turn defiant and even confrontational.

The U.S. is already covertly at war through its proxies (Islamic State otherwise known as ISIS or ISIL, and various supposed 'moderate' opposition groups) in Syria. That could soon change as the fundamental duplicity behind the "War on Terror" is exposed.

So the "War on Terror" could soon develop into a wider confrontation between those that sponsor and covertly promote terror - the U.S. and its allies - and those that oppose it - Russia, Iran, Syria and maybe China too. Ed.

Russia: U.S. controlling an "international terrorist alliance"

Russian officials accused the U.S. on Thursday of siding with "terrorists" in Syria, in a sign of escalating tensions between Moscow and Washington amid the battle for the northern Syrian city of Aleppo.

U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby's warning that the collapse of U.S.-Russian cooperation in Syria could lead to a rise in extremism and potential attacks against Russia drew Moscow's anger.

The Russian Foreign and Defense Ministries both cast it as U.S. encouragement of terror attacks on Russia.

"We can't assess those statements as anything else but a call, a directive for action," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Kirby's statement amounted to "the most frank confession by the U.S. side so far that the whole 'opposition' ostensibly fighting a 'civil war' in Syria is a U.S.-controlled international terrorist alliance."

"What makes Kirby's statement particularly shocking is that the scale of direct U.S. influence on terrorists' activity is global and reaches as far as Russia," he said.

The remarks by Russian officials have shown a degree of mistrust and strain between Moscow and Washington after the collapse of the U.S.-Russia-brokered truce and the Syrian army onslaught on Aleppo backed by Russian warplanes. The growing friction makes it increasingly unlikely that the cease-fire could be revived.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday that Washington is "on the verge" of ending Syria talks with Moscow because of days of deadly bombings of Aleppo by Russian and Syrian planes.

Kirby, asked Wednesday what the consequences would be for Russia if cooperation with the U.S. in Syria collapsed, said "that extremists and extremists groups will continue to exploit the vacuums that are there … which will include, no question, attacks against Russian interests, perhaps even Russian cities, and Russia will continue to send troops home in body bags."

Konashenkov interpreted Kirby's statement as a direct threat to the Russian military in Syria. He said Russia remains open for dialogue with Washington on

Syria, but added that the U.S. needs to "exclude even a hint at threatening our military and Russian citizens."

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said Thursday that Moscow still wants to cooperate with Washington on the Syrian crisis, but blamed the U.S. for a failure to deliver on its pledge under the Sept. 9 agreement to encourage moderate opposition to sever ties with al-Qaida's branch in Syria.

"Our colleagues from Washington have tried to cover up their inability to fulfill their own obligations with verbal attacks on Russia," he said.

Russia on Friday is marking the one year since it launched its air campaign in Syria in support of Syrian President Bashar Assad. In light of that, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a warning to Russians abroad about possible "provocations," urging them to exercise caution.

The diplomatic tension follows Kerry's warning that the U.S. will stop coordinating with Moscow? unless Russian and Syrian attacks on Aleppo end.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying of the U.S. that "a certain emotional breakdown occurred."

He also reiterated Russia's stance that a seven-day pause in the Aleppo offensive would give militant groups time to regroup.

Military Confirm White House Colluding With ISIS To Oust Assad

19 September 2016.

Military confirm collaboration between ISIS and White House in secret plan to oust Assad in Syria

A senior military source has confirmed that the White House are actively colluding with ISIS in order to oust President Assad in Syria.

According to the source, ISIS were able to launch attacks on the Syrian army following the US-led airstrikes on Saturday, due to an ISIS-US collaboration.

Farsnews.com reports:

The source said after the coalition's pounding of the Syrian army near Deir Ezzur airbase, the ISIL could take full control of al-Tharda mountain and then Deir Ezzur military base, adding that the army and national defense forces deployed near the airbase immediately won it back from the terrorists by launching a counterattack.

Noting that Deir Ezzur is now almost in tranquility and no change has occurred in the military map of the region, the source said by attacking the Syrian army positions, the US seeks to prevent military operations to break the terrorists' siege on the city.

The source said the simultaneous raid of the ISIL terrorists immediately after the coalition airstrikes is the best evidence of the high coordination done between the US and the terrorists.

Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that four strikes against Syrian positions had been delivered by US-led coalition aircraft, including two F-16 jet fighters and two A-10 support aircraft.

The Syrian military called the bombing a "serious and blatant aggression" against Syrian forces, and said it was "conclusive evidence" that the US and its allies support ISIL militants.

Also on Sunday, the Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman blasted Washington over the recent airstrikes near Deir Ezzur, and said such moves serves the interests of the ISIL terror group.

"If previously we had suspicions that Fatah al-Sham Front (formerly known as al-Nusra Front) is protected this way, now, after Saturday airstrikes on the Syrian army we come to a really terrifying conclusion for the entire world: The White House is defending the ISIL," Maria Zakharova said.

"We demand a full and detailed explanation from Washington. That explanation must be given at the UN Security Council," she added.

Russia has demanded full and detailed explanation from Washington over the incident in Deir Ezzur, in which 62 Syrian troops were killed and over 100 injured.
