Hi,

Recently I've encountered some issues with my computer shutdown and long sessions. After a long session and wanting to shutdown my monitor, keyboard and mouse act as if the computer was successfully shutdown but the computer itself keeps on running where all fans are still on and HDD is still on. This proceeds to continue for an extended period of time. The only solution I've found is to restart to then shitdown again to properly shutdown the computer. This doesn't make sense to me because its a relatively strong computer with a rog maximus motherboard, ssd, 980 graphics, 1000 watt power and a i7 6300. Any suggestions on how to fix it or what the problem really is?

Please help.
Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Antivirus program other than Windows Defender is technically a third-party program. Having any third-party antivirus program running on your computer is likely to keep your computer from shutting down, so uninstall any third-party antivirus programs.
