Dow drops 666 points

" Dow drops 666 points and posts its worst week since 2016

February 2

The Dow Jones industrial average plunged 2.54 percent closing down 666 points Friday and suffered its worst week in two years as concerns over rising interest rates and inflation from an overheated economy triggered a long-feared sell-off.

It was the worst day for stocks since President Trump took office and a stark reversal from the optimism that has propelled the markets higher for most of the past year. The stock market has been on a historic nine-year bull run.

The U.S. and world economies are so strong that people think it cannot last. Concerns were fueled by a Labor Department report that wages in January were 2.9 percent higher than a year go and unemployment held at 4.1 percent. A tightening labor market sparked fears that interest rates will rise."

Interest rates NEED to rise.

Interest rates have been at historic lows much too long.

Stock  markets have  to "correct" periodically to portray a more reasonable price-earnings ratio, closer to 15, in order to attract new investors to replace those taking a profit.

That's assuming profits were taken before this recent 1000 point drop.

Reminds me of something Rothschild said about buying when there's blood in the streets.

But what he didn't say... the Rothschilds fostered and manipulated blood in the streets.

In the intra-day when the DOW was down about 1,600 points,
the DOW went down about 800 points in about 11 minutes...
so it would be interesting to know what happened there.

After going up and down during the session the DOW closed up almost 600 points on Tuesday.

Was it a sucker's rally, also known as a "dead cat bounce" ??

DOW futures are now down over 200 points.
