this is a very specific to the point quick contribution

how was it posible

without fixing first the existing known problems

1952-1972 - population growth 1.9%

1972-2019 - population growth 1.5%

both enormeous percentages

olduvai theory tells us that we are running out of energy resources

very similar to the known peak oil theory

so we cannot secure next 100 years

that we can continue to operate at level of high energy consumption

given a fixed population

since this is the truth

and untill we solve the energy in the future problem

after these 100 years

what was the point in increaing the population even

but did they tell us the truth ?

was the divine technology initialy given to humans

under strict terms and conditions

the common belief is the logic behind the Lord of Flies book

that there were no initial terms and conditions

so things just happened to best of our knowlege

at each point in time

Lord of the Flies is a 1954 novel by Nobel Prize–winning British author William Golding. The book focuses on a group of British boys stranded on an uninhabited island and their disastrous attempt to govern themselves.

The novel has been generally well received. It was named in the Modern Library 100 Best Novels, reaching number 41 on the editor's list, and 25 on the reader's list. In 2003 it was listed at number 70 on the BBC's The Big Read poll, and in 2005 Time magazine named it as one of the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to 2005.

this is a huge scandal period

in 1952 earth's population was 2.6 billions

now just 65 years later it tripled to 7.8 billions

since there are still today

maybe as high as 1 billion people

without easy access to water par example

why increase the population

prior to securing elementary standards of living

to the existing total number of population

?

The End

Extinction is now staring mankind in the face. There really isn't much we can do. Evolution drives the rare phenomenon of life. Evolution would eventually lead to a species that could bend the laws and change the biosphere. This has happened. All species procreate as much as they can to project themselves into the future. All creatures seek security. These are irresistible forces. When mankind the superspecies started to create his own post agricultural environment he enormously increased his security. Civilization is a euphemism for domestication. Mankind created by breeding several domestic species - cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and so on. He also domesticated himself. We are domestic animals unlike our pre agricultural ancestors. We live in a degraded environment of our own making. Most creatures accept the degraded condition of domestication or captivity. Better domesticated than dead. The fairy penguin  lives 17 years in captivity as opposed to 10 years in the wild. Our own domestication has greatly increased our life expectancy. But all this comes at a price. 80% of the world's forests are gone forever as well as countless unique and wonderful species. We have vastly increased our numbers and vastly increased our energy dependence. We have also increased our dependence on our increasingly fragile infrastructure. We are now dependent on electricity grids. These grids can be brought down by powerful solar flares. A flare of the intensity of the 1859 Carrington event could bring down grids across the globe as well as destroy microelectronics and satellites. A solar event of that intensity will occur in the future. It will disrupt water supplies, food supplies, fuel supplies and cause famines, cannibalism, 400 simultaneous nuclear reactor meltdowns and end life on Earth.

Peak OIl theory was formulated and published in 1956

very well summarized in the two videos by the same author

while Earth's population tripled between 1952 and 2019

at the current trend it is expected world wide energy resources to be exhausted by 2053

why was it neccessary to triple then the population

prior to solving the long term energy problem ?

not only that

but only here on PRAVDA Forum

this issue is even mentioned world wide

today in the year 2019

take this as the concluding remark in this very short article
