TELEMMGLPICT000199747289_trans_NvBQzQNjv  At this time I am in Normandy for the 75th commemoration of D-Day,i couldn't get near any of the landing beaches on the 6th because as usual the bloody politicians have hijacked the the day, including Trump and Macron,i go to see the veterans who are fewer by the day,the vet in the image is Reg Clarke, the last man alive who took part in the Glider airborne assault on the Bridge over the river Orne at benouville/Ranville just after midnight on the 6th june 1944,imanaged to meet and talk with the man during my visit.
