Why British people don't want to study Russian language?

Americans, Canadians, Australians, Indians, may be New Zealanders and South Africans study Russian language, it is not difficult for them but for Brits it is "difficult". Why?

Russian language is easier than modern Greek, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.

Ordinary British people never study foreign languages.

What they do, that is different to other people, is they go and live in a foreign country, (anywhere in the world).

They learn the language by mixing with the local people and going in the local shops and bars.

This will happen in Russia when more British people live in Russia and use Russian shops and bars.
