The Rumble in Nagorno-Karabakh pits Azerbaijan versus Armenia.

So  many have now written, (see this thread's posts) that the U.S. and israel are the major suppliers of weapons to Azerbaijan via a conduit from Turkey

This is not hidden  well at all,

Letters to the Editor:

In the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict,

Turkey is the real villain

 (Los Angeles Times)

"To the editor: Aris Janigian and Mark Arax are fine writers whose work I esteem, but their account of the current conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh repeats a nationalist narrative that ignores the fact that Armenians as well as Azerbaijanis engaged in ethnic cleansing and murder following the collapse of the Soviet Union. Hundreds of thousands of ordinary people on both sides during the 1990-94 war were bombed and expelled from their homes.

Unquestionably, the Armenian holocaust during World War I was one of history's great crimes and should always be taught as such in our schools, but the current conflict is not a simple repetition of that slaughter. We should not forget that for 70 years, the two peoples and their cultures peacefully coexisted in the Soviet Union and fought side by side to defeat fascism.

The real villain today is Turkey's leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the oppressor of the Kurds and the Turkish left, who has deliberately enflamed the conflict to further his goal of making autocratic Turkey a regional superpower.

Progressives should support unconditional peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan while at the same time going into streets with our Armenian sisters and brothers to demand sanctions against Erdogan and his regime."

"The writer is a professor emeritus of history at UC Riverside.

To the editor: Thank you for publishing Janigian's and Arax's piece. The final paragraph made my eyes wet. These are really horrible times for Armenians all over the world and especially in Armenia.

The small republic of Armenia, with 3 million people, cannot sustain a protracted war against Azerbaijan (population 10 million) and Turkey (population 83 million). There is a serious possibility that Turkey, with Turkic Azerbaijan, could commit a major massacre one century after the Armenian genocide. Armenians are fighting for their own survival.

Armenia's hope is for the international community to realize that the Armenians of the Nagorno-Karabakh region may be ethnically cleansed under Azerbaijan's rule, and to start providing humanitarian and military aid to Armenia.

Ara Khanjian, Sherman Oaks

American Armenians are angry. What if they knew that the US and israel are cryptically supplying weapons through Turkey that murder civilians in Armenia?

"Thousands from the Armenian American community protest at Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles on Oct. 11 to denounce military aggression by Turkey and Azerbaijan. (Los Angeles Times) "

We should not forget that for 70 years, the two peoples and their cultures peacefully coexisted in the Soviet Union and fought side by side to defeat fascism.

We & they should remember that they fought and died together to protect TalmudicCommunist control over Russia and associated places.

Since stupid Americas love slaughtering anyone the Israelis hate, the only salvation for Armenia is, perhaps, most likely, Russia. But they tend to be too little too late, and aways worried

about offending the Rich man.

Russia defending Armenia is also defending Russia.  If they sit around talking and talking, they may lose all of Armenia and gain another gang of crazed killers closer than ever

to Russia, and the King of kings may get angry with such sloth and weakness.  But who knows what the real score is, behind the scenes?

Pompeo lusts to be President.

He is now kow-towing to israel and  US jews.

Without  question  he as begun his stab America and the  world in the  back policy

Don't make  me laugh - no side wants it.

New fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh dims hopes before Washington talks

BAKU/YEREVAN (Reuters) - "Hopes of ending nearly a month of bloodshed in the mountain enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh were receding on Thursday as Azeri and ethnic Armenian forces fought new battles on the eve of talks in Washington.

Plans for U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to meet the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on Friday raised hopes this week that the two former Soviet republics would agree to end their deadliest fighting since the mid-1990s.

But those hopes have been dented by the continued heavy fighting in and around Nagorno-Karabakh, a breakaway territory which is inside Azerbaijan but controlled by ethnic Armenians, and by angry rhetoric from both sides.

Armenia's prime minister said on Wednesday he could see no diplomatic resolution of the long-running conflict at this stage. Azerbaijan's president said on Tuesday his country would reclaim Nagorno-Karabakh by force. [nL8N2HC4KB]

Hundreds of people have been killed since fighting flared on Sept. 27, raising fears of a wider war drawing in Turkey and Russia and increasing concerns about the security of pipelines in Azerbaijan that carry Azeri gas and oil through the South Caucasus to world markets.

Russia has brokered two ceasefires since Sept. 27 but neither has held.

Azerbaijan's defence ministry reported fighting in several areas on Thursday, including territories close to the line of contact that divides the sides.

It also said Armenia had fired three ballistic missiles at three regions inside Azerbaijan but Armenia said this was "complete nonsense and a cynical lie."

The Armenian defence ministry reported fighting in several areas, and Nagorno-Karabakh officials said the town of Martuni and nearby villages in the enclave had been shelled.

Azerbaijan wants to regain control of Nagorno-Karabakh before it agrees to end fighting. Armenia says it will not allow this and accuses Azerbaijan of making a land grab in the recent fighting.

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev said this month he believed there was a military solution to the conflict and his aide Hikmet Hajiyev said on Wednesday Azerbaijan did not expect any breakthrough at the talks in Washington.

Azeri forces, bolstered in recent years by increased military spending and the purchase of weapons from Turkey, say they have made territorial gains in the latest fighting though Nagorno-Karabakh says its forces have repulsed repeated attacks.[nL5N2GM2BB][nL1N2H505N]

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan underlined how far apart the sides are on Wednesday, saying: "Everything that is diplomatically acceptable to the Armenian side ... is not acceptable to Azerbaijan any more."

Pashinyan had previously said that Armenia was ready for talks based on mutual concessions and a solution acceptable to all sides of the conflict.

Pompeo said on Wednesday he still hoped a diplomatic solution could be found and underlined that the "right path forward is to cease the conflict, tell them to de-escalate, that every country should stay out."

Turkey has said it will not hesitate to send soldiers and provide military support for Azerbaijan if such a request is made by its close ally. Russia has a defence pact with Armenia but Pashinyan has said he does not advocate Russian military involvement in the conflict."

Pompeo like Trump is cryptically helping Turkey and israel destroy Christian Armenia and  break down Christian Russia's back door.

This betrayal of of Christian nations will backfire,  and  soon

Artists impression of the Battle of Navarino
⚔⛵ 193 years ago, the combined squadron of Russia, Great Britain and France fought a naval battle against the Turkish-Egyptian fleet in the Bay of Navarino, an almost landlocked bay of the Ionian Sea. The victory that the Russians, British and French won that day became one of the most important prerequisites for Greece's independence.

⚔⛵ After the Ottoman Empire refused to grant autonomy to Greece, the combined squadron of Russia, England and France under the command of British Vice Admiral Edward Codrington approached the Navarino Bay, where the Turkish-Egyptian fleet was anchored. The Russian squadron under the command of Rear Admiral Login van der Heyden, which was part of the allied squadron, was comprised of four battleships and four frigates with 466 guns.

⚔⛵ On the morning of October 8 (20), 1827, the allied squadrons began to enter the Navarino Bay and take up position according to the dispositions. As soon as the British ships began to lower their anchors, the Turks opened fire killing the British envoy officer who was heading for negotiations with the Ottoman fleet commander-in-chief. At the same time, the first cannon shot was fired from an Egyptian corvette at the French flagship Sirene, and the fortress batteries opened crossfire at the Russian squadron flagship, the Azov.

⚔⛵ Fierce fighting at close engagement went on for four hours. The allied squadrons acted in complete unison and mutual support. The Turkish-Egyptian fleet was completely destroyed. Importantly, the Russian squadron took the main blow of the enemy and destroyed most of its ships, defeating the entire central and right flank of the enemy formation. The Turkish-Egyptian fleet’s losses in the battle exceeded 60 ships and vessels and more than 7,000 people. The allies did not lose a single ship.

⚔⛵ The Russian flagship Azov under the command of Captain 1st Rank Mikhail Lazarev made a special mark in that battle. The Azov sank two frigates and a corvette, burned a 60-gun frigate, forced an 80-gun ship to run aground, and then, supported by the British, destroyed the Turkish flagship.

The post follows that of the Russian embassy in Greece on the recognition of the right to extend the territorial waters of all countries up to 12 nautical miles, a position that coincides with not only Greece and international law, but directly opposes Turkish claims.

A few days ago, the embassy tweeted about the validity of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and the Mediterranean, saying:

“Russia’s position as a permanent member of the UN Security Council is the starting point. We consider the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea the ‘cornerstone’ of international maritime agreements. The Convention explicitly provides for the sovereign right of all States to have territorial waters up to 12 nautical miles and sets out the principles and methods for delimiting the [Exclusive Economic Zone]. This also applies to the Mediterranean.“

The Greco-Turkish War over the Aegean should have begun weks ago with a Turkish attack.

It didn't

So here we go again.

Turkey-Greece Feud Escalates After They Cancel War Games

Warships continue to monitor the Aegean as Turkey violates international law

(Bloomberg) — "Frictions are escalating between Turkey and Greece in the eastern Mediterranean, and could threaten planned talks over territorial disputes. The rivals exchanged barbs on Sunday after Turkey announced it would conduct a seismic survey in an area of the Mediterranean that both claim. The flare-up undercut the goodwill created last week when they agreed to cancel their respective war games in an effort to ease tensions stoked by Turkish energy exploration.

Turkey, Greece Cancel Military Exercises Next Week, NATO Says

The dispute between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization members has become increasingly militarized, with both mobilizing ships and planes in the Mediterranean.

On top of their own conflict over their maritime borders, they’re also at odds over energy exploration off the divided island of Cyprus, itself long a source of conflict between Greece and Turkey. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will host the newly elected president of the breakaway Turkish Cypriot state on Monday.

The Conflicts That Keep Turkey and Greece at Odds: QuickTake

The Greek Foreign Ministry assailed Turkey’s plan to survey waters south of the Greek island of Rhodes, saying it “essentially further undermines the prospect of a constructive dialogue.” Turkey dismissed the claim as “groundless,” saying its survey ship will ply through an area that lies entirely within its own continental shelf.

The two countries, however, define that boundary differently. Greece maintains that islands must be taken into account in delineating a country’s continental shelf, in line with the United Nations Law of the Sea, which Turkey hasn’t signed. Ankara argues that a country’s continental shelf should be measured from its mainland. The survey area declared by Turkey on Saturday is 440 kilometers (230 nautical miles) from mainland Greece and 130 kilometers from Turkey, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.

Turkey “is ready for dialogue and cooperation towards a solution based on equity, where the legitimate rights of both Turkey and Turkish Cypriots in the Eastern Mediterranean are secured,” the ministry said in a statement.

“We also expect Greece to desist from devising factitious grounds and extending preconditions in order to avoid engaging in dialogue with Turkey.”

No date has been set for talks.

Islam? The "Religion  of Peace" Erdogan? The voice of Peace?

Don't make me laugh harder.

"PARIS (AP) — French authorities denounced Turkish “propaganda” against France that they said was aimed at fanning hate at home and abroad, and asked Sunday that calls to boycott French products cease immediately, saying such attacks were the work of a “radical minority.”

Meanwhile, the president of Turkey took a second insulting swipe at French President Emmanuel Macron for condoning caricatures of the prophet of Islam in a growing, potentially high-risk dispute.

A day after saying that Macron needed his head examined, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday that the French leader has “lost his way.”

In an unusual move, France announced Saturday it was recalling its ambassador for consultations.

In a chain of back-and-forth communications, quickly rising temperatures and French concern over the ramifications of its policies on free expression, Macron added one more, tweeting Sunday night, in English and Arabic, “We will not give in, ever.” But he also affirmed, “We respect all difference in a spirit of peace.”

Another presidential tweet said in bold print “We are ONE.” In a recent count, the Arabic version had 28,000 comments - many of them insulting. They included pictures of Macron with a shoe stamped on his face.

Turkey-backed Syria fighters retaliate for deadly airstrike

People attend funeral of fighters killed in an airstrike in the town of Idlib, Syria, Monday, Oct. 26, 2020. An airstrike on a rebel training camp in northwestern Syria on Monday killed dozens of Turkish-backed fighters and wounded nearly as many, in one of the heaviest blows to the opposition's strongest groups, a spokesman and a war monitor said. (AP Photo)

BEIRUT (AP) — Syrian opposition groups allied with Turkey lobbed hundreds of missiles and artillery rockets at government posts in northwestern Syria on Tuesday, in retaliation for a deadly attack that killed dozens of their fighters a day earlier.

The renewed violence has undermined an already shaky cease-fire in place since March that aimed to quell military operations and government troop advances in the overcrowded rebel-held enclave.

The escalation also comes as relations between Russia and Turkey, who negotiated the cease-fire, show signs of strain over Ankara's increased military involvement in a region stretching from Syria to the Caucasus and the Mediterranean. Russia is a main supporter of Syrian President Bashar Assad's government.

U.N Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pederson appealed to Russia and Turkey to “contain the situation.” Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, discussed the attack in Idlib as well as the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and Libya in a telephone call on Tuesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said. It did not provide details.

Monday’s strike was the deadliest in Idlib since the Turkish-Russian-brokered truce there came into effect, raising fears that the truce could further fray. Some 1 million people were displaced by the last offensive inside the already packed enclave, home to over 3 million.

In retaliation, the Turkey-backed groups, operating under the umbrella of the National Front for Liberation, fired hundreds of artillery rounds and missiles since late Monday at government posts in territories adjacent to areas they control in Idlib and Aleppo provinces.

A spokesman for the NFL, Naji al-Mustafa, said the rebels' military retaliation targeted and killed Russian officers in southern Idlib, as well as Syrian soldiers working in the area.

The report could not be independently verified and there was no immediate comment from Russia or Syria.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights recorded hundreds of projectiles lobbed by opposition fighters at nearly 30 government posts in different locations in southern Idlib, western Aleppo and the coastal province of Latakia. The Observatory said 12 Syrian soldiers and allied fighters were killed in the barrage.

The Monday airstrike on a rebel training camp near the border with Turkey killed more than 50 Turkish-backed fighters, according to one opposition spokesman, and wounded nearly as many, in one of the heaviest blows to the opposition’s strongest groups. The Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the war in Syria, put the toll at 78 fighters dead and nearly 90 wounded. Videos circulating online showed the bodies of about a dozen men spread on the ground of an open space, wrapped in blankets.

The camp, operated by Faylaq al-Sham, an NFL faction, was hosting training sessions for new recruits. The NFL said a “large number” of fighters were killed, but declined to give details. It vowed retaliation and blamed Russia for the attack.

U.S. Special Representative for Syria James Jeffrey said the escalation in Idlib in violation of the March cease-fire deal is “dangerous” and threatens to prolong the conflict and deepen the Syrian people's suffering. Jeffrey said the UN-led political process is the only way to peace and stability in Syria.

“By continuing their quest for a military victory, the Assad regime and its Russian and Iranian allies are threatening the stability of the surrounding region,” he said in a statement Tuesday. “It is time for the Assad regime and its allies to end their needless, brutal war against the Syrian people.”

Russia and Turkey, although they support opposite sides in Syria’s nine-year conflict, have worked together to maintain a cease-fire in the last enclave of Syria’s rebels.

In the first official comment following the violence, the Turkish state-run Anadolu Agency said top Turkish presidential aide Ibrahim Kalin discussed the situation in Idlib with U.S. President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien late Monday. The two men expressed concern over “recently increased attacks by the regime and its supporters,” according to Anadolu."

There appear to be conflicting stories on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict

Thankfully, uncovering Turkish and israeli support of Azerbaijan, most probably with the Trumpian US, helps. distinguish the facts.

Did you know?

"Is Armenia a part of Russia?
By 1920, the state was incorporated into the Transcaucasian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic, and in 1922 became a founding member of the Soviet Union. ... The modern Republic of Armenia became independent in 1991 during the dissolution of the Soviet Union." (Wikipedia)
Sergey Lavrov, Russia's Foreign Minister, is Russian of Armenian descent

Cover up of US complicitness  with Erdogan and Turkey or is the US joining a growing alliance to stop the madman Erdogan and imperialistic Turkey?

US To Supply Stealth F-35 Jets, Originally Planned For Turkey, To Arch-Foe Greece: Reports

( Eurasian Times) "The United States has reportedly approved the sale of fifth-generation F-35 stealth fighter jets to Greece almost a month after Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a “robust” arms purchase program amid tensions with Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Turkey Urges Boycott Of French Products But Its Own Products Are Getting Boycotted In Saudi Arabia

Greek Estia newspaper has reported that U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo gave a “green light” for the supply of 20 F-35s during his recent visit to Greece. As part of the deal, six jets will be purchased in 2022. Of the 20 fighter jets, six of the F-35s were originally meant for Turkey.

Why Turkey Didn’t Get F-35s?

Turkey was headed to procure 100 of the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II conventional takeoff and landing variants of the Joint Strike Fighter, the same version used by the U.S. Air Force.

With a total Turkish investment of more than $1 billion, 10 Turkish companies were involved in the development/production of the 5th generation aircraft.

Eventually, following Ankara’s acceptance of the S-400 air defense system, the US had to remove Turkey from the F-35 joint strike fighter program in July 2019.

Tensions in the Mediterranean

There are wild speculations that the US could shift its İncirlik base in Turkey to Crete in Greece. The matter is under discussion by the U.S. Senate and it will resume after the Greece-U.S. defense agreement expires in a few days, and the government will propose to Parliament its five-year extension.

Last month, amid the heightened tensions with Ankara, Greece’s Prime Minister had said: “The time has come to reinforce the armed forces … these initiatives constitute a robust program that will become a national shield”.

Greece would also be acquiring 18 French-made Rafale warplanes, four multipurpose frigates, and four navy helicopters, while also recruiting 15,000 new troops and pouring resources into the national arms industry and cyberattack defense.

Securing new anti-tank weapons, torpedoes, and missiles are also part of Greece’s arms purchase list.

France, which will be delivering six Rafale jets by 2022, has supported Greece in its burgeoning showdown with Turkey. French President Emmanuel Macron has asked Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to not cross the “red line” and has sent warships and fighter jets to the region.

The hopes for de-escalation are low, as earlier this month, Turkey announced naval exercises in the eastern Mediterranean and sent its research ship, the Oruç Reis, back to contested waters to continue the search for hydrocarbons. Turkey claims equal rights to the resources in the disputed waters that Greece considers its own.

One thing for certain. No one should trust Trump, Pompeo, Turkey or israel in  all this

Orthodox priest in 'critical condition' after shooting

in Lyon, France

When will the nations of the world  stop cowering and groveling before the evil and Satanic  demon Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his garbage can of slimy maggots, known to the  world as Turkey.

The Turkish Satan

Remember it is the U.S. and israel that supply Turkey with all kinds of arms,  including missiles and fighter jets, ad so much more

Attacking Christians, both Orthodox and Catholic is in Turkey's blood.

Europe and the world,  you all have no choice now but to crush Turkey ad Erdogan. The Turkish maniacs are out of control . They negotiate as I write to secure a nuclear device.

What kind of intel information do you have?

Apparently, not very good..

The same Erdogan Turkish assassin thugs group that shot the Russian  Ambassador

(The Telegraph

October 31, 2020) "

French police locked down parts of Lyon on Saturday as they searched for gunmen who shot an Orthadox priest with a sorn-off shotgun before fleeing.

The priest, who has Greek nationality, was closing his church when the attack happened and is now in a serious condition. The interior ministry warned people to "avoid the area" where the attack took place.

A police source said the priest was of Greek nationality, and had been able to tell emergency services as they arrived that he had not recognised his assailant.

The motivation for the attack was not known last night, but the shooting came in the wake of several grisly Islamist attacks on French soil and a growing tension between France and the Muslim world.

Emmanuel Macron, the French president, lashed out at Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, slamming Turkey's "bellicose" stance towards Nato allies.

Mr Macron said that France's wish was now that things "calm down" but for this to happen, it is essential that the "Turkish president respects France, respects the European Union, respects its values, does not tell lies and does not utter insults," Macron said.

Protests erupted Friday in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mali, Mauritania and Lebanon, the latest in a string of mass rallies denouncing France.

Turkey had led the charge in accusing Mr Macron of having a “problem with Islam” and its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan even suggested he get his mental health checked and called for a boycott on French goods.

In an interview on Saturday Mr Macron added: “Today in the world there are people who distort Islam and in the name of this religion that they claim to defend,  they kill, they slaughter … today there is violence practised by some extremist movements and individuals in the name of Islam.”

Recent terror attacks on French soil have reignited the debate over cartoons of the prophet Mohammed.

“We will not give up caricatures and drawings, even if others back away,” Mr Macron said in a speech this month after an 18-year old Islamist beheaded a school teacher who had shown his class Mohammed cartoons that were recently republished by satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo.

"I can understand that people could be shocked by the caricatures but I will never accept that violence can be justified," Mr Macon told Qatar-based TV channel Al-Jazeera in a long interview on Saturday.

“Of course this is a problem for Islam because Muslims are the first victims,” Macron continued. “More than 80 percent of the victims of terrorism are Muslims, and this is a problem for all of us.”

France is still reeling from Thursday’s attack in Nice in which Brahim Assouaoui, a Tunisian 21 year old who had only arrived in Europe from Tunisia last month, murdered three in the Riviera town’s Notre-Dame Basilica.

He first tried to behead Nadine Devillers, 60, then slit the throat of the sexton Vincent Loques, 55. A Brazilian mother-of-three, Simone Barreto Silva, who was stabbed several times, fled to a nearby restaurant where she died of multiple stab wounds.

Assouaoui was shot by police 14 times and is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

Prosecutors say he arrived illegally in Europe on Italy's Mediterranean island of Lampedusa on September 20 before landing in Bari, Sicily, on October 9 and coming to Nice just one or two days before the attack.

French police are now holding three people as they seek to ascertain whether he had accomplices.

A first man, 47, was detained on Thursday evening after being seen next to the attacker on surveillance footage the day before the attack. The second, held on Friday, is suspected of contacting Assouaoui the day before the attack.

On Saturday, police said a third man, aged 33, was arrested after being present when the home of the second suspect was raided.

Police are trying to work out whether the Nice stabbing had been planned in advance by committed jihadists."

How does Greece afford all this military stuff, when they were almost broke a few years ago and sold a lot of Greece to the Rich man?

Solution may be what Russia did at Navarino.

Good points

Selling out in these days, individually or as nations, is a common process

But Turkey for now, a 3rd world country, has profited greatly by being the mercenary and attack mechanism of  the U.S. and israel who feed the Turkish Beast with more and more weapons and technology.

Turks aren't smart enough but they are demons.

Trump has a heavy hand in destroying Christian nations. They better wake up.

More Syrian terrorist rebel mercenaries and weapons supplied to Azerbaijan against Christian Armenia by the U.S.,  israel,  and Turkey

Fighting nears key town as Azerbaijani forces advance in Karabakh

Christian  Church attacked first and next Turkey marches into Armenia

(AFP) Explosions sound in the distance as Kamo Hayrapetyan kneels to pray at the Holy Saviour Cathedral in Nagorno-Karabakh's historic town of Shusha.

Dressed in camouflage and white sneakers, the 60-year-old Armenian reservist lights candles and crosses himself under the partially collapsed roof of the church, which was hit by Azerbaijani rocket fire a month ago.

"They bomb us every day, it has become a habit for them," says Hayrapetyan, whose own home was destroyed in the artillery fire that has been pummelling Shusha.

"We will defend our land, we will hold out until the end. And we won't abandon Shushi," he says, using the Armenian name for the town.

An ethnic Armenian region of Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh broke away from Baku's control in a war in the early 1990s that left some 30,000 people dead.

Decades of stalemate, failed negotiations and sporadic clashes followed, until the heaviest fighting since a 1994 ceasefire erupted on September 27.

Nearly six weeks later, the clashes are getting closer every day to Shusha -- a sign of how far Azerbaijani forces have advanced in their campaign to retake the region.

Karabakh's separatist leader Arayik Harutyunyan sounded the alarm late last month, warning that Azerbaijani forces were only five kilometres (three miles) from Shusha.

"Whoever controls Shushi controls Artsakh," he said in a video filmed in front of the cathedral, using the Armenian names for the town and Nagorno-Karabakh."

Here we go again.

Too bad the Pravda Forum is so controlled by lying cheating jews, israelis

Turkey extends seismic survey work in disputed Mediterranean area to November 29

This is not simply for seismic research  but for stealing Aegean oil, claiming European  land and  waters,  and military positioning.

The US and israel are helping Turkey again

Trump wants war.

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - "Turkey said it was extending the seismic survey work of its Oruc Reis ship in a disputed area of the eastern Mediterranean until Nov. 29, in a move that could add to tensions in the region.

NATO members Turkey and Greece are locked in a dispute over the extent of their continental shelves and conflicting claims to hydrocarbon resources in the eastern Mediterranean.

The row erupted in August when Turkey sent Oruc Reis into waters also claimed by Greece and Cyprus.

Along with two other ships, the Ataman and Cengiz Han, Oruc Reis will continue work in an area west of Cyprus, a Turkish naval maritime notice said on Saturday.

Ankara pulled the vessel out in September to allow for diplomacy with Greece, but then sent it back to the area, prompting an angry reaction from Greece, France and Germany.

The ship had been expected to finish its work by Nov. 23."

Will Russia and the EU believe Erdogan's and Turkey's rubbish and political oral excrement as the ottoman turks fly the flag of the nouveaux ottoman turkish garbage dump?

Trump and israel betray Christians and America once again

So why do our Pravda Forum members wish to vociferously support the betrayer Trump and the jewish agenda while claiming not to?

Erdogan Sees Turkey’s Future With Europe Despite Sanction Threat

That's right Mr. Erdogan, European goats will be much better lovers and wives for you and turkish men, than  the turkish goats y'all copulate with now.

(Bloomberg) -- "President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the European Union to keep its promises to Turkey and avoid discrimination as the threat of EU sanctions looms over the country.

“We see ourselves in Europe, not anywhere else, and we want to build our future with Europe,” Erdogan said Saturday in a video conference during his ruling Justice and Development Party’s regular provincial congress. “We want to be in stronger cooperation with our friends and allies.”

Earlier this week, the EU’s foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, said Turkey isn’t sending “positive signals” and needs to change its attitude fundamentally regarding the hydrocarbon dispute with EU members Greece and Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea.

Turkish Cypriots and Cyprus have been at loggerheads over offshore gas reserves in disputed waters. Cyprus has been pushing other EU states to expand a blacklist against Turkey over its natural-gas exploration in the eastern Mediterranean. Other governments including Germany were wary of provoking Turkey.

EU Parliament Drives Home Threat of Extra Sanctions on Turkey

“We believe that we don’t have any problem with any country or institution that we cannot solve with diplomacy and dialogue,” Erdogan said a week after a visit to northern Cyprus. “We have been keeping diplomatic channels open and we will continue to do so.”

European leaders will discuss the future of EU-Turkey relations at their summit in December, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Thursday. When asked by a reporter about recent tensions between Turkey and EU members, Merkel said they will watch for developments in the next couple of weeks before discussing any potential sanctions."

The future Mrs. Erdogan

Erdogan said; "I'm  falling in love again."

Trump told Erdogan; "Well Recep Taiyo, you sure know how to pick 'em. She's better lookin' than Melania"

Turkey, Russia at odds over Turkish military post in Azerbaijan - source

ANKARA (Reuters) - "Turkey and Russia are at odds over Ankara's wish to set up an independent military observation post on Azeri territory, a Turkish source said, after the two agreed this month to monitor a ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Turkey and Russia have already agreed to set up a joint centre in the region to monitor the Nov. 10 ceasefire, which ended weeks of fighting between Azerbaijan's troops and ethnic Armenian forces in the enclave.

Nagorno-Karabakh is internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan but is populated by ethnic Armenians.

The ceasefire agreement, which locked in Azerbaijan's territorial gains from the fighting, involves the deployment of some 2,000 Russian peacekeepers to Nagorno-Karabakh.

Russian and Turkish officials have still to agree on the parameters of the monitoring mechanism, but Turkey, a staunch ally of Azerbaijan, also wants its own independent observation post to boost its influence in a region it sees as key to its own security.

"The biggest difference of opinion right now is the observation post Turkey will establish on Azerbaijan's lands," the Turkish source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"Russia thinks it is unnecessary for Turkey to establish an observation post in the region independent of the joint centre. However, this is necessary for Turkey."

The source said talks would continue in Moscow and that Turkey expected eventually to reach a compromise with Russia.

There was no immediate comment on the matter from Russia, Armenia or Azerbaijan.

Turkey has backed Azerbaijan, with which it has close ethnic and cultural ties, since the start of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict nearly 30 years ago and has demanded the withdrawal of Armenian forces from all Azeri territory.

France said last week it wanted international supervision to implement the ceasefire, concerned that Russia and Turkey could strike a deal to cut out Western powers from future peace talks."
