They're not going to fight anybody, because they're not heading to Baghdad or anywhere else.
My point in dredging this old thread up again was to show that stl has a bad habit of posting utter nonsense here time and time again.
Admit that this was ridiculous, stl.

The last thing I heard is the Russians had 6000 Nuclear ICBMs
I for one am glad Canada is thier good friend.
All the money and Armor in the World means nothing when
counting Nukes.
From what I understand the majority are still targeted on US citys.
The great detterent is alive and well.
Oh! One other thing I have never recieved an insult from a Russian.
They suffered 6.000.000 deaths during the second world war. talk
about 9/11. King Size!! They have a good reason to be painoid
Thats more than I can say for the US. Your own Govt. is a bigger threat than Arab Terrorists

Gee, thanks "Gil".
Nice grasp of history you have there.
Tell me....why do you suppose the U.S./Canadian border is the longest undefended border in the world? Because the U.S. is such a "threat", right?
It's apparent that your close proximity to the U.S. leads you to take our benevolent presence for granted, while your lack of proximity to Russia and lack of long term memory about her past leads you to romanticize her.

From the military point of view, the bottom line is who wins, eh?
To them, NickNames and Slurs are just that, eh? Sour Grapes, Envy and the atypical infra-national "Hatred" comes to mind.
Realizing they'd better suck up to the (*&%$) U.S. if they want any crumb of the spOILs, many non-American nations: Including Russia and Germany are wisely changing their tune.
The U.K. is IN the war against Iraq.
Shame on those pale flat-chested Lackeys?
Down fellows, Just kidding, hah?
War is hell.

It is so sad to see a bunch of Russians sitting around praying that mythical mighty Russian army is on it's way to Baghdad to oust Americans who arent even your enemy.
Sigh...The next time America fights a war I can only pray that our enemy is still using Soviet equipment and trained by former Soviet Generals.

Let the poor Russian keep their delusions of pride.
It's common knowledge that they rarely ever had what they claimed to have.
In the 50's thru the 80's they would actually paint new ship numbers on the bows of their vessles so that they could have the "allusion" that they had many more ships than they actually had. This was filmed by the US many times from the periscope of our fast attack subs without them knowing that we were there.

"Your argument holds no water, Russian tanks unlike M1A1's have no problem with sand. You better hope that the 3rd Motor Rifle division is not heading to Iraq, being one of the most combat ready in the entire Russian Army, and the T-80 tanks together with MSTA-S 152mm SPG's will make your 1st Armored disappear."
Those M1A1's really had problems with the sand, didn't they?
