Her scan and subsequent tests showed a type of bone eating cancer in her middle ear. It has eaten part of the small bones in the ear and will eventually spread.
She will undergo surgery on it on June twenty seventh.
She requested the wait so she could finish the year with her students. Damn crazy woman.
Doctors say the surgery should be a success as the tumor is still small.
Dont know what affect it will have on future sugeries to try hearing again.

Same here on the vision thing.
My last check up I was 40 and passed the up close and personal part of the vision exam fine; however, in the last year (I'm 43 now), I've begun to experience the need for reading glasses.
I still get by without them for the most part.
