Remember, the US soldiers cannot drink alcohol and have sex with the local women as they did in Vietnam. And the Iraqi heat is even worse than in Vietnam.

The last part of the Al-Jazeera report mentioned an attack on a marketplace. Why in hell would the Iraqis do this to themselves? On the other hand, if you were an American soldier getting shot and grenaded by invisible attackers, couldn't drink, couldn't have sex, were very ****ing pissed and wanted to lash out, then. . . kill and say the Iraqis did it.

KHALDIYAH, Iraq - U.S. troops backed by attack aircraft, tanks and helicopters battled Iraqi resistance fighters Monday near this Sunni Muslim town west of Baghdad after a roadside bomb killed one soldier and wounded another, U.S. officials said.

Sporadic, heavy gunfire rattled farming communities north of Khaldiyah, where resistance to the American presence is strong. In Baghdad, U.S. military spokesman Lt. Col. George Krivo said the fight started about 9:10 a.m. when a homemade bomb exploded along the road as a U.S. convoy passed, killing one soldier and wounding another.

Six soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division were wounded Sunday in nearby Fallujah in another roadside bombing, U.S. officials said.

Important victories for Iraqi Freedom Fighters.

With the announcement of another 10 000 USA fascists being sent to Iraq its important to keep in mind that after the Red Army victory at Stalingrad fascist forces were reinforced to the extent that they didnt reach their numerical peak until the summer of 1943.

I see similarities after 5 months of Iraqi Freedom Fighter victories.

US FORCES SHOOT DEAD IRAQI CHILD

Monday 29 September 2003, 16:10 Makka Time, 13:10 GMT

US occupation forces have shot dead a 10-year-old child near the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

Soldiers opened fire at hundreds of stone-throwing demonstrators in Hawija, west of the mainly Kurdish city Kirkuk on Monday, said a hospital director.

A demonstrator, 25, was also injured after being hit in the heart.

The US army did not confirm the report. The casualties occured when protesters, carrying portraits of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, took to the streets of Hawija and began pelting occupation soldiers with stones.

SOLDIER DIES

In Falluja, west of Baghdad, the US military confirmed that one American soldier was killed and one wounded in a bomb attack on a convoy on Monday.

A military spokeswoman, who would not give her name, said the convoy was attacked about 9:15 am (0515 GMT) by an "improvised explosive device" in the town of Habbaniyah, near to where the Americans have a large base.

An Iraqi police officer told AFP that unidentified resistance fighters fired four mortar rounds on Monday morning at a US position in the centre of Kirkuk, an Iraqi police station and an army rehabilitation centre.

A military spokesman admitted that six US soldiers were wounded in a bomb attack on Sunday against a convoy in the hotspot town of Falluja, 50km west of Baghdad.

The convoy was hit by an "improvised explosive device". The wounded soldiers are said to be in stable condition.

As lawlessness continues to grip the country, an Iraqi official working on drafting a new constitution for the occupied country escaped an assassination attempt, but his bodyguard was killed.

It was the second attack on a political figure in nine days.

From AFP:

"A US military spokesman also said six US soldiers were wounded in Sunday's bomb attack on a convoy in the hotspot town, where anti-US sentiment runs high.

And a protracted firefight Monday outside Khaldiyah, 30 kilometres (19 miles) further west, lasted more than four hours, with American helicopters firing six rockets and spraying machine-gun fire, an AFP correspondent said.

Witnesses said several US soldiers were wounded, and some appeared to have been killed, before the four US tanks, half a dozen humvee vehicles and a troop transport withdrew along a back road under heavy fire."

US forces attacked in Iraq

Tuesday 30 September 2003, 17:23 Makka Time, 14:23 GMT

US forces facing frequent resistance attacks

United States troops came under attack in three different areas of Iraq on Tuesday morning.

Our correspondent, quoting eyewitnesses, reported that one US tank was totally damaged when an explosive device detonated on the main road in al-Habbaniya area.

Al-Habbaniya is to the west of the flashpoint town of Ramadi, which is west of Baghdad. It was not immediately clear if the US suffered any casualties.

In another attack, a US patrol was hit by an explosive device in al-Hashimiya area, east of Baquba city. One US military vehicle was damaged, eyewitnesses told Aljazeera.

Civilians killed

In the third attack, a US position in the northern town of Hawija, near Kirkuk, came under mortar attack at dawn and a fire broke out inside the building, but it was not immediately clear if there were casualties, witnesses said.

"I was asleep on the roof of my building when I heard two explosions and I saw flames bursting from the technical institute where US troops are positioned," said resident Usama Jumaa Fayad.

He said the building was hit by two mortar rounds. US forces were not immediately available to confirm the report.

Probably because they're tired of admitting their ***-kickings!

"I was asleep on the roof of my building when I heard two explosions and I saw flames bursting from the technical institute where US troops are positioned"
Osama Jumaa Fayad, resident.

Ali Ahmad Jaburi, who also heard the explosions, said the attack was "apparently organised and planned" because it came a day after the reported death of a child in Hawija, 50km west of the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

Hawija's hospital director, Dr Jasim Abd Allah Jiburi, accused US troops of shooting on hundreds of demonstrators who pelted them with stones, killing 10-year-old Husayn Dakhil Ahmad and wounding 25-year-old Meaad Abd Allah in the chest.

But US forces on Tuesday denied the claim. "Somebody within the crowd shot him (the boy), not US forces. US forces did not fire into the crowd," said 4th Infantry Division (4th ID) spokesperson Major Josslyn Aberle.

She also disputed Jiburi's account of the protest, describing the demonstration as "some sort of salary dispute ... not anti-US, nor pro-Saddam."

An AFP correspondent on the scene said the casualties occurred when about 500 protesters, carrying portraits of Saddam Hussein, took to the streets of Hawija and began pelting US soldiers with stones.

Pay dispute my ***! Why Hussein's picture? But the liars got their asses kicked, and will keep getting wasted. Good riddance!

US troops have been forced onto
the defensive by Iraqi fighters

The mortars apparently failed to hit their targets and caused no casualties or damage.

Even punks have lucky days
********************************************

US forces have not restored security to war-torn Iraq since occupying Baghdad in April and continue to come under daily attack.

A military spokesman admitted that six US soldiers were wounded in a bomb attack on Sunday against a convoy in the hotspot town of Falluja, 50km west of Baghdad.

The convoy was hit by an "improvised explosive device". The wounded soldiers are said to be in stable condition.

War rages on

US President George Bush declared major combat over on 1 May, but this was hard to believe in the town of Khaldiyah as US troops used tanks, helicopters and a F-16 jet to battle their way out of an ambush.

For more than four hours, US soldiers and Iraqi resistance fighters fought pitched battles after a convoy came under rocket-propelled grenade attack.

One resident said he saw "many" occupation forces killed. The US army said two soldiers were wounded.

Eye witnesses also said four Iraqi civilians were hurt, including an elderly woman who was taken by US helicopter to a hospital after being hit in the shoulder.

It's PR. The pigs themselves shot her while butchering the people
***********************************
And in the southern Iraqi city of Najaf, a bomb was found and defused in a bag on a busy commercial street.

The incident took place just a month after a blast in the city killed prominent cleric Ayat Allah Muhammad Baqr al-Hakim.

The pigs really had the shit kicked out of their asses this fine morning! I'll have a second picnic with my darling this week to celebrate!

Cloning is proceeding apace in the form of identical American coffins and wheelchairs aloft westward. Strange how foreigners go for our Hollywood aesthetics while pandering to get our young killed; I'd advise you, though, to lose the Big Mac you're ready to stuff into your bottleblond head and pick up your chopsticks again. Not even slant-eyed, bucktoothed stickwomen are immune to breast cancer.

Another US Soldier Dies, Iraqi Police Clash Wih Demonstrators
Oct 01, 2003
Source: Albawaba.com

A U.S. soldier was killed Tuesday at a base located north of the capital of Baghdad, according to the U.S. military Wednesday.
The death was attributed to "non-hostile fire."

IN OTHER WORDS, ANOTHER FRAGGING OR SUICIDE. OFFICERS AND "DEAR JOHN" LETTERS CAN ONLY BE TOLERATED FOR SO LONG BEFORE THE SEARING HEAT AND LACK OF SEX AND ALCOHOL MAKE FRATRICIDE.
*************************************************

Iraqi police opened fire in downtown Baghdad Wednesday morning after unemployed demonstrators stormed a police station and threw stones at officers, a policeman said. At least one demonstrator was injured in the shooting, The AP reoprted.

When the shooting stopped about 30 minutes later, fist fights broke out between some demonstrators and police. The protesters said they had been promised police jobs in July, but the positions had not been given out. They charged that police were demanding bribes in return for hiring them.

Several police officers were wounded and the demonstrators set two cars on fire. Some 45 minutes after the shooting broke out, American soldiers arrived at the scene of the violence.

Female US soldier killed in day of violence

Frustrations rising as occupation fails to deliver promises

Rights groups: US rules of engagement slack

A female US soldier was killed and three other soldiers were wounded by a bomb blast in Iraq in a day marked by violent protests between jobless Iraqis and police.

According to the US military, the blast occurred on Wednesday near the entrance to the main United States military base in Saddam Hussein's hometown of Tikrit.

The remote-controlled explosive went off as a convoy of vehicles headed towards the occupying base, US military sources said.

The US Centcom also reported that a 17th Field Artillery Brigade soldier died from a non-hostile gunshot wound at a base camp near Balad on 30 September.

On 29 September one 800th Military Police Brigade soldier and one 82nd Airborne Division soldier died after a military vehicle overturned and became submerged in a canal near Abu Gareb Prison in Baghdad, Centcom said.
******************************************
SURE ARE LOTS OF SUPPOSED TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS AMONG
THE OCCUPIERS. IS IT EASIER TO COMMIT SUICIDE BY MOTOR VEHICLE OR BY GUN? OF COURSE, "ACCIDENTS" ARE A CLASSIC MASK FOR COMBAT DEATHS WHEN PUBLIC OPINION MATTERS
*******************************************

Since 1 May when US President George Bush declared combat operations over in Iraq, 82 US occupation soldiers have been killed in resistance attacks.
*******************************************
BEHIND THE SCENES, IT HAS TO BE FAR HIGHER. WITH ONE TO TWO DOZEN ATTACKS DAILY? PROBABLY BODIES ARE BEING STORED IN FROZEN LOCKERS AND GRADUALLY RELEASED WITH ACCIDENT AND "NON-HOSTILE GUNSHOT" EXCUSES. THE SOLDIERS' FAMILIES, EVEN WHEN RICH ENOUGH TO CHALLENGE THE OFFICIAL STORY OF THE DEATH, CAN'T GO TO IRAQ TO FIND OUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WITHOUT HUGE RISK. MOST FAMILIES ARE POOR AND DON'T CHALLENGE THE GOVERNMENT SO AS TO GET THE DEATH BENEFITS WITH NO HASSLE. SPEAKING OF "ACCIDENTS," IT'S NO ACCIDENT AMERICANS HAVE BEEN SHOOTING AND BOMBING INDEPENDENT JOURNALISTS TO PREVENT WITNESSES.
